摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester coating having improved balance between hardness and processability by using a specified polyester graft polymer as the main component. CONSTITUTION:A dibasic acid (dialkyl ester) (a) (e.g., dimethyl terephthalate) is esterified with a diol compound (b) (e.g., ethylene glycol) and a condensation macromonomer (c) which is a polymer of a number-average MW of 1000-20000, having a polycondensible functional group on one end of a molecular chain (e.g., carboxyl-terminated styrene/acrylonitrile copolymer) at 150-180 deg.C in the presence of a catalyst, component (b) is distilled from the mixture by heating in a vacuum, and the mixture is polycondensed at 240-280 deg.C for several hr to obtain a polyester graft polymer (A) having a composition (in terms of a weight ratio of the branch component to the trunk component) of 1-80/99-20. Component A is optionally mixed with another resin component, a solvent, an additive, etc. (B).
