捡到钱包一篇英语作文
I couldn't believe my luck when I found a wallet lying on the ground. It was bulging with cash and credit cards, and I knew I had to do the right thing and try to return it to its owner.
The first thing I did was check the ID in the wallet to see if I could find a phone number or address. Unfortunately, there was no contact information, so I decided to take it to the nearest police station.
When I arrived at the police station, I explained the situation to the officer at the front desk. He took the wallet and told me they would do their best to locate the owner. I felt relieved knowing that I had done my part to help.
A few days later, I received a call from the police station informing me that they had successfully returned the wallet to its owner. The owner was extremely grateful
and even offered me a reward, which I politely declined.
Finding the wallet and returning it to its owner made me feel like I had done a good deed. It was a reminder that there are still honest and kind people in the world, and I was glad to have been a part of that.。
