进一步强调素质教育思想,明确提出英语课程的双重属性,即工具性与人文性。

强调以“能力”为主线,重视研究过程、思维能力以及交流与合作的能力。

反映时代精神,合理吸收社会发展和科技进步的新成果。

合理设计教学内容,科学控制课程容量,减轻学生研究负担。

修订内容包括:调整教材的容量,调整话题,更加贴近学生生活并更富有时代感,精心设计阅读板块,加强阅读能力培养,增强写作的过程性和指导性,合理编排语法项目、丰富语法研究活动,改进自我检测板块,培养学生的总结和归纳能力。

在教材编排方面的变化包括:适当减少教学内容,使教学内容难度推进更加合理,调整部分单元顺序,合理安排各册教学容量。

具体来说,起始阶段适当降低难度,让学生较好的完成从小学到初中阶段的平稳过渡。

减少七年级上册单元数量,将原七年级上册15个单元(包括预备篇)减少到12个单元。


虑到话题和语言研究内容的衔接,将原教材第九单元删除,将第十、十一单元移至七年级下册。

调整部分单元顺序,修订后的教材将原七年级上册第二单元(unit 3 this is my sister.)和第三
单元(unit 2 is this your pencil?)顺序对调。

让学生先学this is。

的肯定句,再学一般疑问句is this。

一方面符合语言研究的规律,另一方面可使前后单元的话题衔接起来,即先介绍自己、再介绍家人,然后询问研究物品的所属关系,为下个单元研究询问这些物品的位置打下基础。
