Teaching procedures:
Step Ⅰ. Lead in
1. Watch a video about DIY.
2. Talk about the students , favourite food.
Step Ⅱ. How to make a fruit salad: the things we need
1.Show the students some pictures to review the fruit and the tools we need when we make a fruit
salad.
2. Predict the answers to the exercises in A1.
3. Listen to the recording and check the answers.
Step Ⅲ. How to make a fruit salad: steps
1.Do exercises in A2:Put the notes in the correct order.
2.Ask two students to make a fruit salad in the front of the classroom.
Step Ⅳ. How to make a fruit salad: tips
1. Listen to the recording and check the answers.
2. Read the tips together.
3. According to the tips : check the understanding.
Step Ⅴ. Speak up: Let ,s make some sandwiches.
1. Listen and answer one question: What are they going to make for lunch?
2. Listen to the conversation again and finish the steps.
3. Read the conversation in roles.
4. Pair work: work in pairs to talk about how to make a vegetable salad.
Step Ⅵ. Group work:
Talk about the food and discuss it with your group members.
