English new course standard emphasizes to develop students’ communication ability. “How to make a banana milk shake?” is from Go For It Grade eight of People’s Education Press in English. On the basis of learning the name of a variety of ingredients before this unit, and it is on the subject of “How to make a banana milk shake?" to discuss the topic。
By this unit,students can learn how to communicate with others well and prepare for writing。

ⅢTeaching Approaches
The aim of learning English is let the students receive some moral education while they are learning。
In this unit, I will take The Oral Approach,Communicative Language Teaching and Language learning approaches and methods. The Communicative Language Teaching and Language learning approaches and methods are main approaches. The Oral Approach is a supplement approach. By The Oral Approach, I will introduce and practice new words and sentences. By Communicative
Language Teaching, the students will have more opportunities to practice speaking in the class. By Language learning approaches and methods,students will learn how to make a banana milk shake in a group。
It will make them learn to work together.
ⅣTeaching Aids
In this unit,the real things will be used in this lesson,such as bananas,milk, and a blender.
ⅤTeaching Procedures
1. At the beginning of the class,I will greet to my students。
Then I will say: “The summer is coming, would you want to some cool drinks?" Next I will ask them what kinds of drinks do they like and do they like banana milk shake, and then I will lead to this lesson。
2. After teaching the instructions and procedures about the milk shake,I will give them some minutes to review. Then I will choose two students,one student retells the procedure and the other student does it。

I will organize an activity. I will make them work in a group,and each group has six students. Because of the instructions are only six steps. And then, each student can say how to make a banana milk shake one by one.
4. I will make them listen to the 2a. They will learn how to use “How many/How much …do we need?”

Finally,I will make a summary about how to make a banana milk shake。
I will point out the important words and sentences。
I will give them the homework that it’s to make a banana milk shake for their parents. Not only can review the knowledge learning in the class,but also can make their parents happy。

1.In this lesson,I can’t pronounce very well in some words。
2.Some students are not interested in this class;they are only listening but
speaking。
