摘要：PURPOSE:To make a key board small and obtain a key top which increases character information available in the key board by indicating the character information on the top portion and all side portions. CONSTITUTION:For a key top 10 which is mounted on a key board for inputting character information into an information processing device, it is so constructed that character information 17 is indicated on the top portion 11 and all front- back-right-left side portions 12-15. On the top portion 11 the information 17 such as 7,, ', (small-size character) is indicated, and other information 17 such as on the front side portion 12, on the back side portion 13, on the left side portion 14, and on the right side portion 15, respectively, are indicated, with eight types of information 17 in total indicated on the key top 10. When the key top 10 is mounted on the key board, one of these is selected depending on the shift condition of the key board information 17 and determined by the information processing device. It is thus possible to indicate up to eight types of character information for which five types was available so far and increase the corresponding input from the key board into the information processing device.
