缩写民间故事作文范文英语
Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived a young girl named Cinderella. She was kind, gentle, and hardworking, but she was treated poorly by her stepmother and stepsisters. Despite their cruelty, Cinderella remained hopeful that one day her dreams would come true.
In another part of the kingdom, there was a handsome prince who was searching for a bride. He held a grand ball at the palace, inviting all the eligible maidens in the land to attend. Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters went to the ball, leaving her behind to clean the house.
As Cinderella sat alone, a magical fairy godmother appeared and transformed her ragged clothes into a
beautiful gown, complete with glass slippers. With a wave of her wand, the fairy godmother sent Cinderella off to the ball in a sparkling carriage.
At the ball, the prince was captivated by Cinderella's
beauty and grace. They danced together all night, but as the clock struck midnight, Cinderella had to flee before her magic spell wore off. In her haste, she lost one of her glass slippers on the palace steps.
The prince searched the kingdom for the mysterious maiden who fit the glass slipper. When he finally arrived at Cinderella's house, her stepsisters tried to squeeze their feet into the tiny shoe, but it was Cinderella who it fit perfectly. The prince knew he had found his true love.
And so, Cinderella and the prince were married in a lavish ceremony, and they lived happily ever after. The moral of the story is that kindness and perseverance will always be rewarded in the end.。
