框架语义学视角下唐代边塞诗之意象英译

【摘要】Both poetry imagery and frame theory put emphasis on subjective experience.Applying frame theory to imagery translation is to find in the target language the image expressions which are capable of activating the cognitive frames identical or similar to those in the source language.Images shared by both Chinese and Western culture though enjoy identical frames,yet there are still some possible different emotional elements.Images specific to one culture,however,are distinguished from each other in the aspect of frame.Guided by the theory of frame,when translating these two kinds of images,we can use strategies of image preservation,substitution and construction.%诗歌意象对主体经验的强调与框架概念不谋而合.运用框架理论指导意象的翻译,就是需要找到可以激活与原意象相同或相似的认知框架的意象表达式.英美文化共有的意象虽然享有共同的框架,但框架中的情感元素可能存在差异,而文化独有的意象在框架上就存在着缺失或错位的现象.在框架理论指导下翻译这两大类意象时,可以采取意象保留、撤换及重构的策略.
