You should probably be drinking your morning cup of coffee around10 a.m.,according to a new video from AsapScience. We know, we know. If you re an I-need-caffeine-as-soon-as-I-wake-up kind ofperson, this isn t great news. But as AsapScience e_plains it, the production ofcortisol, the stress hormone associated with the way the body naturally wakesitself up, generally peaks between 8 and 9 am -- right around the time mostpeople are sipping their cappuccinos and lattes. Peak cortisol hours also happen between _ and 1 p.m. and 5:30 and 6:30p.m. And according to AsapScience, drinking coffee during those hours lessenscaffeine s effects. If you re an early or late riser, your peak cortisol hours are probablydifferent from the average person s. So whenever it is you wake up, just wait abit before hitting the coffee maker. 所以最好起床后过一段时间再去泡咖啡.〝Cortisol levels do indeed increase about 50 percent right after you wakeup, regardless of the time, the video e_plains. Science says, wait at least anhour to get your cup of joe and your body will be optimally ready to go.〞视频中介绍说:〝无论几点起床,皮质醇的含量在起床后都会激增50%左右.科学家认为,起床一小时后再饮用咖啡,可以让身体获得更多动力.〞Hey, we re all about reaping all of coffee s benefits -- especially becauseit s been linked to a healthier heart and, ahem, a lower risk of erectiledysfunction. Let s keep that stuff brewing.

5.注意逻辑关系词英语句子的理解很多时候是要去理解其逻辑关系的,常见的逻辑关系有并列(and,awell),比较(than,a….a),因果(becaue,o,therefore,thu,reultfrom),递进(alo,furthermore),转折(but,however,yet)等等。

把给出的黑体字句子的主谓宾列出来~简单的列为xx(主语)+xx(谓语)+xx(宾语)。

则可以把所有的MI句子写成一个数学的函数表示公式:MI: F(x)=A(x[主语])+B(x[谓语])+C(x[宾语])则那么所有的SI为MI公式的一个根:SI:F(1)=A(1[主语的分支])+B(1[谓语动词不变或者为同义词])+C(1[宾语不变])。

例子!OG第一篇阅读:THE ***** OF *****NS的13-14题。

这道题的MI黑体字句子是:this passage discusses fossils that help to explain the likely origins of cetaceans-whales,porpises,and dolphins.分析主谓宾可以知道:fossil(主语)+help to explain(谓语)+origins of cetaceans(宾)然后看答案。

In the pursuit of academic excellence, students aspiring to achieve high scores on English exams must look beyond traditional teaching methods and explore innovative strategies that can propel them to new heights. One such strategy that has garnered significant attention in recent years is the utilization of early reading material as a means to enhance English proficiency and secure coveted high scores. The significance of early reading material in the context of English language learning cannot be overstated. These resources, carefully curated and tailored to the needs of students, serve as a powerful catalyst for language acquisition and comprehension. By exposing learners to a diverse array of texts, ranging from literary masterpieces to informative non-fiction, early reading materialprovides a multifaceted approach to building a strong foundation in English. One of the primary benefits of incorporating early reading material into the English language learning process is the development of critical reading skills. In a fast-paced, ever-changing world, the value of traditional wisdom often gets overlooked or dismissed. However, as we navigate the complexities of modern life, it becomes increasingly evident that the wisdom passed down through generations holds profound relevance even today. Whether it's in the realms of personal development, societal harmony, or environmental sustainability, the principles rooted in traditional wisdom offer invaluable guidance for contemporary challenges. One area where traditional wisdom shines brightly is in the realm of personal development. Ancient philosophies such as Stoicism and Buddhism provide timeless insights into achieving inner peace and fulfillment. The Stoic emphasis on focusing only on what is within our control and accepting what is not resonates deeply in a world plagued by anxiety and uncertainty. Similarly, the Buddhist teachings on mindfulness and detachment offer practical tools for managing stress and cultivating resilience in the face of adversity. By embracing these age-old principles, individuals can navigate the complexities of modern life with clarity and equanimity. Moreover, traditional wisdom plays a crucial role in fostering societal harmony and cohesion. Across cultures, proverbs, fables, and moral tales serve as moral compasses, guiding individuals towards virtuous behavior and harmonious relationships. For instance, the Chinese concept of "harmony in diversity" emphasizes the importance of mutual respect and understanding among people of different backgrounds—an ethos that is particularly relevant in today's multicultural societies. Similarly, the African proverb "It takes a village to raise a child" underscores the communal responsibility for the well-being of each member—a principle that resonates in the context of building inclusive and supportive communities.Furthermore, traditional wisdom offers invaluable insights into environmental sustainability—a pressing concern in the 21st century. Indigenous cultures around theworld have long understood the interconnectedness of all living beings and the importance of living in harmony with nature. Practices such as permaculture, which mimic natural ecosystems to create sustainable food systems, draw inspiration from traditional farming methods that have sustained communities for centuries. By learning from indigenous knowledge and traditional ecological practices, we can develop more holistic and sustainable approaches to addressing environmental challenges such as climate change and biodiversity loss.In conclusion, the wisdom passed down through generations remains as relevant today as it was in ancient times. Whether it's guiding individuals towards personal fulfillment, fostering societal harmony, or promoting environmental sustainability, traditional wisdom offers timeless principles that resonate across cultures and contexts. In an era marked by rapid change and uncertainty, embracing the insights of our ancestors can provide a much-needed anchor amidst the turbulence of modern life. As we strive to build a more just, compassionate, and sustainable world, let us not overlook the profound wisdom that has stood the test of time.。

As more and more people speak the global languages of English, Chinese, Spanish, and Arabic, other languages are rapidly disappearing. In fact, half of the 6,000-7,000 languages spoken around the world today will likely die out by the next century, according to the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).In an effort to prevent language loss, scholars from a number of organizations- UNESCO and National Geographic among them –have for many years been documenting dying languages and the cultures they reflect.Mark Turin, a scientist at the Macmillan Center, Yale University, who specializes in the languages and oral traditions of the Himalayas, is following in that tradition. His recently published book, A Grammar of Thangmi with an Ethnolinguistic Introduction to the Speakers and Their Culture, grows out of his experience living, looking and raising a family in a village in Nepal.Documenting the Tangmi language and culture is just a starting point for Turin, who seeks to include other languages and oral traditions across the Himalayans reaches of India, Nepal, Bhutan, and China. But he is not content to simply record these voices before they disappear without record. At the University of Cambridge Turin discovered a wealth of important materials- including photographs, films, tap recordings, and field notes- which had remained unstudied and were badly in need of care and protection. Now, through the two organizations that he has founded-the Digital Himalaya Project and the World Oral Literature Project- Turin has started a campaign to make such documents, found in libraries and stores around the world, available not just to scholars but to the youngers.Generations of communities from whom the materials were originally collected. Thanks to digital technology and the widely available Internet. Turin notes, the endangered languages can be saved and reconnected with speech communities.1.ny scholars are making efforts to _____.A.promote global languagesB.rescue the disappearing languagesC.search for language communitiesD.set up languages research organizations.2.at does “that tradition” in Paragraph 3 refer to?A.Having first records of the languagesB.Writing books on language searchingC.Telling stories about language usersD.Linking with the native speakers3.at is Turin’s book based on?A.The cultural statics in India.B.The documents available at Yale.C.His language research in Britain.D.His personal experience in Nepal.4.ich of the following best describe Turin’s Work?A.Write sell and donate.B.Record,repeat and reward.C.Collect,protect and reconnect.D.Design, experiment and report. One moment it was quiet and calm in the forest, the next, the air was charged with tension. The elephant had heard the distant alarm calls of animals and her mood suddenly changed. I urged the elephant deeper into the forest. We sounded like a forest fire~crackling, snapping, trailblazing. But through all the noise came a sharp warning cry. The elephant stopped and we heard it again一the tell-tale call of a spotted deer.I looked quickly around the shadows of the forest. Rays of sunlight shone through tree branches, beneath which the patchwork (交错)of green plants and shadows-within-shadows would make tiger stripes (条纹)look more attractive. Apart from an occasional noise from the elephant’s stomach, the forest was silent.Gradually, the tension slipped from our bodies. The elephant seized a nearby branch and put it into her mouth. I reached forward and gently moved my hand over the elephant’s neck;there was a soft part, free of wrinkles and hairs, behind her ear. This was my fourth time to sense the aura of the forest in Corbett, although I saw no tigers in the end. Located at the foot of the Himalayan mountains, Corbett is home to about 135 Bengal tigers, but the forest seemed to be guarding their whereabouts (出没处),a silent reminder of their secrecy and rarity. Still, I was happy enough touching the elephant behind the ear. If I had so desperately wanted to see a tiger, I could have gone to a zoo. After all, spotting tigers merely confirms their beauty;tracking them can make you aware of something more.48.Which of the following was a clear signal of alarm?A.The elephant stopped.B.A spotted deer called.C.The elephant seized a branch.D.The forest was silent for a while.49.The author begins his account of the tour in the forest mainly by .A.describing various soundsparing different animalsC.listing different activitiesD.introducing various plants50.What does the underlined part “to sense the aura” most probably mean?A.To see the diversity.B.To enjoy the scenery.C.To feel the atmosphere.D.To experience the freedom.51.How does the author feel after several visits to Corbett?A.Seeing a Bengal tiger is quite thrilling.B.It is very time-consuming to travel in Corbett.C.It is really worthwhile to study the animals in Corbett.D.The process of finding Bengal tigers is most appealing. It’s generally believed that people act the way they do because of their personalities and attitudes. They recycle their garbage because they care about the environment. They pay S5 for a caramel brul6e latte because they like expensive coffee drinks. It’s undeniable that behavior comes from our inner dispositions (性情),but in many instances we also draw inferences about who we are, as suggested by the social psychologist Daryl Bern, by observing our own behavior. We can be strangers to ourselves. If we knew our own minds, why would we need to guess what our preferences are from our behavior? If our minds were an open book, we would know exactly how much we care about the environment or like lattes. Actually,we often need to look to our behavior to figure out who we are. Moreover, we don’t just use our behavior to learn about our particular types of character~we infer characters that weren’t there before. Our behavior is often shaped bylittle pressures around us, which we fail to recognize. Maybe we recycle because our wives and neighbors would disapprove if we didn't. Maybe we buy lattes in order to impress the people around us. We should not mistakenly believe that we always behave as a result of some inner disposition.Whatever pressures there can be or inferences one can make, people become what they do,though it may not be in compliance (符合)with their true desires. Therefore, we should all bear in mind Kurt Vonnegufs advice:“We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be. ’’52.According to the passage, personalities and attitudes are commonly believed to__________.A.determine one’s behaviorB.reflect one’s tasteC.influence one’s surroundingsD.result from one’s habits53.Which of the following would Daryl Bern most probably agree with?A.The return of a wallet can indicate one’s honesty.B.A kind person will offer his seat to the old.C.One recycles plastics to protect the environment.D.One buys latte out of true love of coffee.54.What can be inferred from the underlined sentence in the passage?A.We fail to realize our inner dispositions.B.We can be influenced by outside pressures.C.Our behavior is the result of our true desires.D.Our characters can shape our social relationships.55. What does the author mainly discuss in the passage?A.Personalities and attitudes.B.Preferences and habits.C.Behavior and personalities.D.Attitudes and preferences. One afternoon last week, I saw three tearful children from my son’s school being comforted by teachers. That morning, my 11-year-old had stomach pains, retchinginto a bowl. Talking t o other mothers later, I heard about other children with stomachache or difficult sleeping thenight before. What caused so much pain? Sports day. Sports day might be necessary at a highly-compe titive independent school, but not at a village primary school. For the children who can fly li ke the wind, sports day cause no problem. For those who are overweight or just not good at s port, it isNightmare.ven for those who enjoy running but fall halfway down the track in front of the e ntire school and their parents, it can prove a disease. Why do we put our children through this annual suffering? Some may say competition is character building; or it’s taking part, not winning, that’s important; or that’s a tradition of school life. I just felt great pity for those children in tears or in pain.Team games at the end of sports day produced some close races, wild enthusiasm, lots of shouting — and were fun to watch. More importantly, the children who were not so fast or q uick at passing the ball were hidden a little from everyone’s eyes. Some of them also had the thrill of being on the winning side.I wish that sports day could be abandoned and replaced with some other less competitive event. Perhaps an afternoon of team games, with a few races for those who want them, would be less stressful for the children and a lot more fun to watch.57.What can we learn about the author’s son from Paragraph 1?A.He talked with some mothers.B.He comforted his classmates.C.He had difficulty in sleeping.D.Hesuffered from stomachache.58.Sports day is still an annul event in this school probably because __________.A.this is an independent schoolB.it is a tradition of the schoolC.it helps children lose weightD.children enjoy watching sports59.What does the author think about team games?A.They should include more stressful races.B.They are acceptable to different children.C.They should be abandoned at primary school.D.They are less fun for those who love running.60. What is the author’s attitude towards sports day?A.Critical.B.Neutral.C.Positive.D.Ambiguous. In an effort to prevent language loss, scholars from a number of organizations- UNESCO and National Geographic among them –have for many years been documenting dying languages and the culture they reflect.

An introductory sentence for a brief summary of the passage is provided below. Complete the summary by selecting the THREE answer choices that express the most important ideas in the passage. Some sentences do not belong in the summary because they express ideas that are not presented in the passage or are minor ideas in the passage. This question is worth 2 points.

【解析】(Ⅰ)由题可知()1,0K -,抛物线的方程为24y x =则可设直线l 的方程为1x my =-,()()()112211,,,,,A x y B x y D x y -,故214x my y x =-⎧⎨=⎩整理得2440y my -+=,故121244y y m y y +=⎧⎨=⎩则直线BD 的方程为()212221y y y y x x x x +-=--即2222144y y y x y y ⎛⎫-=- ⎪-⎝⎭令0y =,得1214y yx ==,所以()1,0F 在直线BD 上.(Ⅱ)由(Ⅰ)可知121244y y m y y +=⎧⎨=⎩,所以()()212121142x x my my m +=-+-=-,()()1211111x x my my =--= 又()111,FA x y →=-,()221,FB x y →=-故()()()21212121211584FA FB x x y y x x x x m →→⋅=--+=-++=-,则28484,93m m -=∴=±,故直线l 的方程为3430x y ++=或3430x y -+=213y y -===±,故直线BD 的方程330x -=或330x -=,又KF 为BKD ∠的平分线,故可设圆心()(),011M t t -<<,(),0M t 到直线l 及BD 的距离分别为3131,54t t +--------------10分 由313154t t +-=得19t =或9t =(舍去).故圆M 的半径为31253t r +== 所以圆M 的方程为221499x y ⎛⎫-+= ⎪⎝⎭【举一反三】【相似较难试题】【2014高考全国,22】 已知抛物线C :y 2=2px(p>0)的焦点为F ,直线y =4与y 轴的交点为P ,与C 的交点为Q ,且|QF|=54|PQ|.(1)求C 的方程;(2)过F 的直线l 与C 相交于A ,B 两点,若AB 的垂直平分线l′与C 相交于M ,N 两点,且A ,M ,B ,N 四点在同一圆上,求l 的方程.【试题分析】本题主要考查求抛物线的标准方程,直线和圆锥曲线的位置关系的应用,韦达定理,弦长公式的应用,解法及所涉及的知识和上题基本相同. 【答案】(1)y 2=4x. (2)x -y -1=0或x +y -1=0. 【解析】(1)设Q(x 0,4),代入y 2=2px ,得x 0=8p,所以|PQ|=8p ,|QF|=p 2+x 0=p 2+8p.由题设得p 2+8p =54×8p ,解得p =-2(舍去)或p =2,所以C 的方程为y 2=4x.(2)依题意知l 与坐标轴不垂直,故可设l 的方程为x =my +1(m≠0). 代入y 2=4x ,得y 2-4my -4=0. 设A(x 1,y 1),B(x 2,y 2), 则y 1+y 2=4m ,y 1y 2=-4.故线段的AB 的中点为D(2m 2+1,2m), |AB|=m 2+1|y 1-y 2|=4(m 2+1).又直线l ′的斜率为-m ,所以l ′的方程为x =-1m y +2m 2+3.将上式代入y 2=4x ,并整理得y 2+4m y -4(2m 2+3)=0.设M(x 3,y 3),N(x 4,y 4),则y 3+y 4=-4m,y 3y 4=-4(2m 2+3).故线段MN 的中点为E ⎝ ⎛⎭⎪⎫2m2+2m 2+3,-2m ,|MN|=1+1m 2|y 3-y 4|=4(m 2+1)2m 2+1m 2.由于线段MN 垂直平分线段AB ,故A ,M ,B ,N 四点在同一圆上等价于|AE|=|BE|=12|MN|,从而14|AB|2+|DE|2=14|MN|2,即 4(m 2+1)2+⎝ ⎛⎭⎪⎫2m +2m 2+⎝ ⎛⎭⎪⎫2m 2+22=4(m 2+1)2(2m 2+1)m 4,化简得m 2-1=0,解得m =1或m =-1, 故所求直线l 的方程为x -y -1=0或x +y -1=0.三、考卷比较本试卷新课标全国卷Ⅰ相比较,基本相似,具体表现在以下方面: 1. 对学生的考查要求上完全一致。
