The Scroll Marked One Today I begin a new life.Today I shed my old skin, which has too long suffered the bruises of failure and the wounds of mediocrity.Today I am born anew and my birthplace is a vineyard where there is fruit for all.Today I will pluck grapes of wisdom from the tallest and fullest vines in the vineyard, for these were planted by the wisest of my profession who have come before me, generation upon generation.Today I will savor the taste of grapes from these vines and verily I will swallow the seed of success buried in each and new life will sprout within me.The career I have chosen is laden with opportunity yet it is fraught with heartbreak and despair and the bodies of those who have failed, were they piled one atop another, would cast a shadow down upon all the pyramids of the earth.Yet I will not fail, as the others, for in my hands I now hold the charts, which will guide through perilous waters to shores, which only yesterday seemed but a dream.Failure no longer will be my payment for struggle. Just as nature made no provision for my body to tolerate pain neither has it made any provision for my life to suffer failure. Failure, like pain, is alien to my life. In the past I accepted it as I accepted pain. Now I reject it and I am prepared for wisdom and principles which will guide me out of the shadows into the sunlight of wealth, position, and happiness far beyond my most extravagant dreams until even the golden apples in the Garden of Hesperides will seem no more than my just reward.Time teaches all things to him who lives今天,我天始新的生活.

英语作文《生命最后一天》If today were the last day of my life, I would spend it with my family. I would start the day with a big hug to my parents and thank them for all the love and support they have given me over the years. Then I would spend the day playing with my siblings, talking about our childhood memories and laughing at our silly jokes.I would also take the time to call my friends and tell them how much I appreciate them and all the wonderful times we have shared. I would thank them for being such an important part of my life.In the evening I would sit down with my family and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal. We would talk, laugh and reminisce about all the happy moments we have shared together. We would then watch a movie and cuddle up together on the couch. Finally, before going to bed, I would take a moment to reflect on my life and be thankful for all the wonderful people and experiences I have had. I would also take the time to think about the future and all the possibilities that lie ahead. This would be the perfect way to spend my last day on earth and I would go to bed feeling content, happy and grateful.。

live each day as if it were the last day of our life

live each day as if it were the last day of our life

Steve Jobs mentioned a quote at his commencement speech of Stanford University, if you live each day as if it were your last, someday you'll most certainly be right. I am totally agreed upon this ing Steve Jobs' example, this quote really made an impression on him, he said, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something. Now what he achieved proves it right. Let’s suppose today is your last day then what would you do? I'm not suggesting you quit your job, tell off the neighbors or stop paying your bills, but rather to look at the areas of your life that matter most to you. Will you? I think the answer is "YES!" Some people may retort us if we live each day as if it were the last day, we can be much stressed. In some degree, it may be a problem. But it is not a problem indeed. If we do not feel afraid that we will die when we wake up tomorrow but treat each day remaining as a gift we own, then we may say,"oh,bravo! I have one day remaining. What really an inspiring thing!" We choose to feel grateful for what we have today not to cry for what we will lose tomorrow. Living every day as if it were the last day of our life is an attitude toward life. We choose to make a difference everyday and make every day make sense. Goldfish can only remember things for three seconds. But in every three seconds, it tries its best to make its life more meaningful. Do you believe that every day we have is a gift we get from god? One of billions sperms meets one of billions eggs then your mother gave birth to you. You are more fortunate than your brothers or sisters who did not have this opportunity. Do you believe everything happens for a reason? Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they weremeant to be there, they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are and who you want to become. You never know who these people may be: they can be your neighbor, child, long lost friend, lover, or even complete stranger who, when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way. And you still have one day even though you never know whether you cannot open your eyes tomorrow when you close your eyes tonight. You should cherish this day you have. Franklin once said "The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today." When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love. Be grateful for each day we have. Live every day as if it were the last day. Cherish those people those things making sense to you. Life will be better.。

I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I've ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That's it. No big deal. Just three stories.

The first story is about connecting the dots. I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I really quit. So why did I drop out?

It started before I was born. My biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. She felt very strongly that I should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. Except that when I popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. So my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: "We have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?" They said: "Of course." My biological mother later found out that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. Sherefused to sign the final adoption papers. She only relented a few months later when my parents promised that I would someday go to college.

As the last day approaches, I feel a mix of emotions. On one hand, I am excited to move on to new adventures and challenges. On the other hand, I am sad to say goodbye to the people and experiences that have shaped me during my time here.Looking back, I am grateful for all the opportunities that I have had. I have learned so much about myself and the world around me. I have met amazing people who have become my friends for life. I have also faced challenges that have tested my limits and helped me grow. One of the most important things that I have learned is the power of perseverance. There were times when I feltlike giving up, but I pushed through and came out stronger on the other side. This is a lesson that I will carry with me wherever I go.As I prepare to leave, I am reminded of a quote by Robert Frost: "In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on." Life is full of changes, but it is important to embrace them and make the most of every moment.

On the afternoon of that eventful day, I stood on the porch, dumb, expectant. I guessed vaguelyfrom my mother's signs and from the hurrying to and fro in the house that something unusual was about to happen, so I went to the door and waited on the steps. The afternoon sun penetrated the mass of honeysuckle',event)">honeysuckle that covered the porch, and fell on my upturned face. My fingers fingered almost unconsciously on the familiar leaves and blossoms which had just come forth to greet the sweet southern spring. 假如这是你生命的最后一天(Ifthisisthelastdayofyourlife)

假如这是你生命的最后一天(Ifthisisthelastdayofyourlife)

(If this is the last day of your life)If today is the last day of your life -- Li JianThe strategies and methods of time management and I spent ten years, I studied the world people's top the success of their success; in more than 10 years ago, I have no money, no education no social relationship nor the resources but I believe there must be a way to success because I have failed through the study of the world's top the success of their successful methods after I found out: one of the most important reasons is that they manage their own time is good at managing their life is the theme of my speech today is: If today is the last day of your life you will do each of us face to you is not me predict your future in your life and how long you can live for many days no one can give me a standard answer but you can fake it Design today is the last day of your life. How do you live I'll share with you a story: the name of this story is called "death" Bill: late night, critically ill patients ushered in the last minute of his life and death came to him as scheduled...... Before then, the image of death flashed through his mind. "Give me another minute, OK?" "what do you want to do for a minute?"" "I want to take another minute to look at the sky, look at the earth, think about my friends and relatives, and if you're lucky, you can see a flower open to wither......" "You have a good idea, but I can't promise you."! All this has left time for you to appreciate, but you don't cherish it as you do now. You look at the bill: in the 60 years of your life, you have more than 1/3 of the time in bed; in the remaining 30 years, you often have the number of delay time, sigh time is too slow is 10 thousand times, an average of 1 times a day. This includes youth in class youth and friends on the phone while friends and evenfor life and his temper the ledger generally can be listed as follows: you procrastinate time, from youth to old age total consumption to 36500 hours, equivalent to 1520 days. You do have, you look across the street that careless beautiful girl do you often find excuses to blame others shirk responsibility you use to work time and colleagues talk you work in time to sleep and you are boring to talk on the phone you also participated in numerous non heart / lazy lethargy, this is your sleep more than 20 years. You have presided over a lot of similar meetings, so that more people sleep as much as you do...... Also...... Also...... If you're alive, you can save a minute, and you'll hear the bills I wrote you! Well, the world is like this......I regret when I can't do it...... Dead. The mileage of our life, death bill sooner or later one day to come but when the bill came to you is how to treat him is no regrets, or regret the death. Where life time life is how many times, people are believed to have no time later I will consider it in many times we have time, we have wasted so time are wasted the main reason I summed up a waste of time has 12 aspects the first is "waste of time is the lack of a clear goal in our work and study in family life including our wealth including our health. These important indicators of life,We have no clear goals without long-term goals without recent goal is not the goal now without a goal we have no plan we have no way to our plan to achieve our desired results so we wasted our time as we floated in the water East West Breeze we every day life no matter from mediocrity and waste my life so no goal becomes that we have no meaning and value so that we do not have the power to let us see no hope of success this is the first and most important of the second main reasons for the waste oftime is from the "delay" Why are we waiting for many times because we are afraid of failure many times we feel can solve the problem of delay sometimes we don't dare to face the reality and we believe that the delay is the most simple A single solution so that can be said later, when young, we would like to wait for me when I get old when we marry and settle down to do some things we would marry and settle down after we say to ourselves we are not enough social relations after we do a lot of our life is to delay the delay delay delay of your life is constantly losing and every day or you to take the time each day or you can take time to delay the loss of time to flow in vain Xiangfengyiyang unable to capture third is to the "lack of priority", we have many things to do but often we do not know his own goals do not know their own life is the result of what we want is what many of us. Love done no value no productivity did not give personal bring any value to others by less than fourth so we focus on the details and sometimes even when we catch our handsA lot of things we don't let yourself to do but it is because your time is limited to everyone's time is limited for everyone only 24 hours a day just 1440 minutes a day and every day, only 86400 seconds. God is very fair and this is our life everyone is assets enjoy the life of the 86400 seconds of the 1440 minutes we how to enjoy it how we are going to use it how can we let him have a value so world-class success of their success is a key point in the management of time because they know that time is limited so they put every minute to produce them either to create value or value they go to enjoy life or they will make every minute to let him have the meaning to let him feel the happiness and joy will never be able to every minute of nothingThe value of consumption since people's life is limited especially every one cannot predict their life long if I think that a person can live to 70 years old. At the age of 70, you say people can live to 70 years old, it is you I can live to 70 years old, I can't guarantee because we have no expectations of future but even if I even though he is 70 years old that he has only 25550 days you have only more than 20000 days but the more than 20000 day you how to use your how to manage him how are you going to let him have a value so why these world-class successful people can at the same time the same time 24 hours 1440 minutes but they result in life are different they create value of their service to the society they got a lot of wealth they enjoy the high quality of life they have joy happiness and health They have the same abundance in material abundance and in spiritual abundance, but also in an ageIn the same environment they have they have 24 hours 1440 minutes 86400 seconds, they have the rich and the poor are the same as the world president and beggar their time is the same but because the value is not the same because the management methods are not the same because of the time reference is not the same so the result of this is completely different the results of the causes why the difference lies in the time you manage your time to master your time to use the different that you do not like the results of your fate will come out of my colleagues want to share shares is that we cannot decide the length of life do not know how long including I now have I lived for more than 10000 days but I don't know if I still have 10000 days you really don't know but I can decide The width of his life because I don't know my own length how far I want to become a permanent memorial day today, I want to turn it into my lifethe most brilliant the most wonderful and meaningful day I will take to face the day today is very important, but people don't think we are every day today is the most important day every day, the most special day but we often have today did not cherish today but we'll go back tomorrow so we are often delayed until after the next further consideration we tend to put a lot of objective factors to cover up their own actions do not dare to dare to face the reality of our fourth the reason is a waste of time and attention to detail it might not be good because you really do a lot of things but not a lot of things It's your most valuable thingA lot of things is not the main reason "to bring you joy and happiness it's not something you really need in life does not have the 51 a waste our time when we do have a lot of blind to do something or done after I do not insist on not insist I have to share a story a master of the world's top insurance: the insurance is the master of the top time, 5 years to maintain sales in the first and then the insurance industry because the competition is very intense and many elites in this industry inside but the master can become the world insurance master's top secret of his success what is the man who is 60 years old when he retired and have a mechanism for the insurance held a master This speech speech after news of a lot of people are very expect to hear the sales master of the world's most successful salesman is how to come to this step most want to know his secret of success so that one day after many people hold great expectations came to the scene and tickets very but expensive to the scene said the compere us warm applause is very warm and the warm applause to welcome the most exciting scene of the master but to see the master come to the podium and then to themiddle for the back and then made a gesture in the audience with four burly chap carrying a huge the clock the clock is a very big burly chap 4 put the clock onto the middle of the floor and the four man out of the insurance master did not say a word From the office until now he did not say a word but only saw him looking at the clock and then the clock one finger with his forefinger to force the clock struck no use because how could this finger too thin so big clock has effect before the start of all surprisedWow is the world's top master of the insurance insurance master is certainly a game or what will give us a big surprise but the master very focused very seriously, he once knocked her fingers had no effect and no possibility of second time or three or 10 or 100 or 1000 times but he keeps the impact of the process of time passes slowly in the audience began to feel bored because he did not speak because he did not have any hint to see him here with a finger and a repeated action is repeated continuously until half an hour later so people began to stir an hour after we feel strange 1.5 hours later we began to talk began to interrupt him to start his interference began to say you What we didn't speak to you today is to listen to the speech why don't we say you what are the secrets of success and 1.5 hours after the master had not occurred he was with a finger but this time is already thousands of times this time his fingers bled him like no one around the same with a finger to focus and is careful to knock the bell you feel too not two hours after we became impatient when we began to use paper to beat him with a ticket folded in a plane to fly to the plane flew over his head. Many people began to knock on the table this time many people began to sound field 1/2 people have becomeimpatient ah feel cheated and finally in this insurance masters in his hit 3 hours to After he hit ten thousand times when the miracle happened is his bloody fingers finally at the last moment he took the clock sounded with a finger of the ordinary people can not imagine this time left 1/3 people stood up and gave him the most enduring the loudest applause of the master is not the use of language to express no words to express my secret of success is what because he tells you what the successful seller and successful sellers are those who succeed unremittingly until success is to eliminate all interference that sellers can focus attention to seriously man so successful is the law is indeed a direction there is a way to learn but it can in turn most of the time we can not insist that we do things without a head Finally, we have no value, we give upWaste our time sixth main reasons of "lack of coherent whole looking for something" no organization not clean we spend a lot of time on what not organized and tidy in life at work in our affairs work that will lead to a result of what it will let us find things we often forget things in most of the time we suddenly thought of a thing to do not know where to find things we suddenly find the key to find information for the file for the past day held the meeting records a lot of time in such repeated American Human Resources Association statistics done by an American at the age of 72 he had two years of time to find something and if a man does not have a coherent or a person without a neat habit that has more than two years all the time whenever and wherever possible To waste waste in these seventh places we don't know this authorization is mainly aimed at the leadership we are hands-on are their own to do that in your own power is limited to your own time is limited by how much youcan do you a person to complete what it is absolutely impossible to not complete the number I give an example in my life when I was young I was working in the industrial and Commercial Bank of 128 yuan monthly income income after I see that I am not willing to I think this income is too low to support me and even unable to achieve what I want on the material treatment, how do I do my work at night out in 1985 is not to support you to find out the second occupation but I determined I know what I want in my life although the result in the bank people respect you People admire you so people will compliment you but that is not what I want I work every day after I was out to work but the first job is to do security 5 dollars second jobs in our bank next to a night market in 1986 the Gallery Gallery street then do a big night market where a a ask from door to door can give me a job later found a 7 dollars to wash dishes picking vegetables work later to find a job 10 dollars to help others to sell snack I work every night I gave the boss at 7 o'clock after work and follow his bike cage to fire cross bridge in the supper market under the streetlights to help him sell snacks every night 10 dollars later, I went to repair the bike in this process so I want to express what This is my own after my best but I passed my best to pay is not a value is of value but this value is limited but today because I I know other ways I know a team I know more than higher value I know I know a set of time management the goal I know empower others and I today is not the value of 10 dollars today my management team in the event of an annual income of 500 million 4 thousand years to complete the profit is one hundred million so you want the same person because I do not like the way the time because I manage my time is not the same as my life I had to pay very very hard very seriously, but I get the value of it is limited。
