第二节:读写任务(共1小题,满分25分)

阅读下面的短文,然后按照要求写一篇150词左右的英语短文

What Is Anger? We all know what anger is, and we’ll all felt it; whether as a fleeting(短暂的) annoyance or as full-fledged rage (盛怒).

Anger is a completely normal, usually healthy, human emotion. But when it gets out of control and turns destructive(破坏性的), it can lead to problems at work, in your personal relationships, and in the overall quality of your life. And it can make you feel as though you’re at the mercy of an unpredictable and powerful emotion.

Ange r is “an emotional state the varies in intensity(强度) from mild irritation to intense fury(愤怒) and rage(恼怒),” according to Charles PhD, a psychologist who specializes in the study of anger. Like other emotions, it is accompanied by physiological and billogical changes; when you get angry, your heart rate and blood pressure go up, as do the levels of your energy hormones, adrenalin(肾上腺素), and nor adrenalin(降肾上腺素).

Anger can be caused by both external(外部的) and internal (内部的) events. You could be angry at a specific person (such as a coworker or supervisor) or event ( a traffic jam, a canceled flight), or your anger could be caused by worrying or brooding (沉思) about your personal problems. Memories of traumatic (创伤的) or enraging events can also trigger angry feelings. 【写作内容】

读写任务

The passage tells us what anger is. It may have positive or negative influence on humans.

Anger, which brings about changes in the body, can be caused under different circumstances. (30words)

It is true that in our society people tend to lose temper more frequently and easily. We can see people arguing in the street, couples quarreling at home and students fighting over some trifles. Many doctors believe that anger is very harmful to people’s health.

So how to cope with anger becomes a big concern for us. We have figured out many ways to deal with anger. Firstly, you should identify the real cause of your anger. So long as you know why you are angry, you will be aware of whether the cause deserves you to get angry. Secondly, you may make self-conso lation when you are in trouble. Thirdly, when you are in trouble you’d better talk to others and take advice from others.

In fact, anger itself is neither faulty or right. The key point is how we treat it. As far as I’m concerned, I will try to control my temper and not let my temper do any harm. (162 words)

第二节:读写任务(共1小题,满分25分)

阅读下面的短文,然后按照要求写一篇150词左右的英语短文。

We’ve collected all the 2100 questionnaires on school violence, which we handed out last month to middle school teachers, students and their parents.

67% students admitted that school violence did exist around them, who also expressed their fear of school violence. As to the question “Who is most likely to be involved in school violence?”, most students gave “rich students”, “students without interest in study” or “students who make friends with bad guys o r wandering dropouts outside schools” as their answers. When asked what may be the cause of school violence, most students chose “money”, “showing power”, “girls”. According to the survey, 26% students have encountered school violence at least once.

98% of the parents questioned said they were often worried about the safety of their kids in the school. Some parents said that if their children didn’t return home an hour after school, they would, most of the time, expect something bad had happened to them. Many parents chose to accompany their children to school and back home every day for fear that their money might be extorted or they might be beaten by some other teenagers outside the school because of some conflicts in the school.

Teachers also expressed their great concern about the increasing number of the cases of school violence. Li Rong, a psychology professor from Lanzhou Medical College, appealed to the attention of the whole society to the mental health of adolescents, who are going through a special period of life and easily engage in violence as they are longing for a sense of success, which, if not achieved in study, will be attempted to get through fighting or other forms of violence.
