八年级英语上
Unit 10 If you go to the party, you’ll have a great time!
Section A (1a-2d)
Good morning Ladies and gentlemen! I’m glad to share my speaking lesson here. Here are the contents of my speaking lesson.
Analysis of teaching material
My English teaching materials are from Go for it grade8 Book1 Unit 10 If you go to the party, you’ll have a great time! Section A (1a-2d) and this is the first period.
The language target of this unit is adverbial clause of condition with if. It plays an important role as it let students use first conditional if +will to talk about consequences using The Simple Future Tense that they’ve learned.
Analysis of the students
As a Grade 8 student, it’s the fi rst time for them to contact If guided conditional adverbial clauses. There will be some difficulties in accepting so it’s required that the teachers need to introduce more from the perspective of students’ thinking.
Analysis of teaching aims and demands
According to New English Curriculum Standars and this part of contects in Unit10, I design the following objects:
1. Knowledge Objects:
Master the new words, phrases and the sentence structure of if guided conditional adverbial clauses.
2. Ability Objects:
Through the study of this lesson, the students can use English to predict and describe the situation that is about to happen.
3. Sensibility and Value:
Learn the expression of the causal relationship and make reasonable suggestions. Talk about your own feelings, and make the students pay attention to and observe other people's feelings in English communication.
Analysis of the key and difficult points in Teaching
Because the topic of this unit is to talk about consequences, and the consequences will be different in different situations, it is important to speculate and talk about the consequences in different situations. And to master the sentence pattern, “If... ,... Will...” is the crux.
Analysis of teaching method:
In order to highlight the difficulties, the following teaching methods: Task-based learning approach, Situational communicative approach, Autonomous learning method and Cooperative learning will be Mainly used in the class.
Analysis of teaching Procedures:
