The main tense is the present progressive tense. After learning, the students can describe the weather and use the present progressive tense to talk about the events that happening now. Such topic is related to students’ daily life, so it is helpful to raise learning interest of students and it will improve their spoken English. 2. Knowledge goals1). Learn to use the following words: hot, cold, warm, cool, humid, dry.2). To master the key structures:“How’s the weather?”, “How’s it going?”, “What are you doing?”3.
