写自己的邻居英语作文(五句话)

写自己的邻居英语作文(五句话)

写自己的邻居英语作文(五句话)全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Neighbor Mrs. JenkinsMrs. Jenkins is my next door neighbor. She is a very old lady with white hair and wrinkly skin. I'm not sure exactly how old she is, but I think she must be at least a hundred years old! She lives all alone in her little house with her friendly dog Rufus.Even though Mrs. Jenkins is super old, she is still very active. Every morning, rain or shine, she goes for a walk around the neighborhood. Rufus trots along beside her on his leash. Mrs. Jenkins always wears bright colorful clothes and big floppy hats when she goes walking. I think she looks kind of silly but also very cheerful. When the weather is nice, Mrs. Jenkins can often be found outside working in her garden. She has the most beautiful flower garden on our whole street. There are roses and tulips and daffodils of every color. The garden always smells so nice and sweet. Sometimes Mrs. Jenkins lets me help her pull weeds orwater the plants. Getting dirty in the garden is one of my favorite things to do.Inside her house, Mrs. Jenkins has so many cool old things. She has antique furniture like rocking chairs and curio cabinets filled with porcelain figurines. Everything looks delicate and fancy. On her walls are old black-and-white photographs of people I don't know. She has one of those big tube television sets from way back in the olden days. The TV is practically as old as she is! I'm not allowed to touch anything fragile, but I love looking at all of her vintage items. The best thing about Mrs. Jenkins is that she is an amazing baker. She is always making delicious pies, cookies, cakes and other treats. The smells wafting from her kitchen window make my mouth water. Whenever I see her outside working in the yard, I rush over in hopes that she has some freshly baked goodies to share. She always offers me something right out of the oven or cooling on the countertop, still warm and gooey in the middle. My favorite is her apple pie – it's better than anything in the world! I wish my own grandma could bake as well as Mrs. Jenkins.Even though she never had any children of her own, Mrs. Jenkins treats all the neighborhood kids like her owngrandchildren. She is unfailingly sweet, generous and kind. She has infinite patience, taking time to listen to us chatter and never shooing us away when we hover around her watching her bake or garden. We all just love our neighbor Mrs. Jenkins. I feel so lucky to live right next door! One thing that is a little sad is that Mrs. Jenkins' memory doesn't seem to be so great anymore. Sometimes she forgets simple things, like what day it is or whether she has already eaten lunch. And she can't always remember our names, even though she has known us all our whole lives. Sometimes she calls me by her late husband's name, which is kind of funny. But we try not to tease her about her confused moments.I know Mrs. Jenkins won't be around forever. The thought of her not being nextdoor makes me really sad. She has watched my siblings and me grow up over the years. We all share so many happy memories of time spent with our favorite neighbor. I just hope she has many more years left so we can keep making new memories together. Things wouldn't be the same without dear old Mrs. Jenkins living next door. That's all I can say about my neighbor for now. I could probably keep writing about her forever because she is just the nicest, most interesting old lady there is. Her house always smellsso good from her baking, and her yard is so pretty with all her colorful flowers. I feel so lucky that of all the neighbors I could have, I ended up with the sweetest granny-like neighbor a kid could ask for. I love you, Mrs. Jenkins!篇2My Neighbor Mrs. JenkinsMrs. Jenkins is my neighbor who lives in the yellow house next door. She is an older lady with gray hair and glasses. I really like Mrs. Jenkins because she is very nice to me and gives me cookies sometimes. One of my favorite things about Mrs. Jenkins is that she has a big garden in her backyard. She grows all kinds of fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, carrots, strawberries, and pumpkins. In the summer, her garden is full of beautiful flowers too like roses, sunflowers, and daisies. It smells so good when you walk by her yard.Sometimes when I get home from school, Mrs. Jenkins is outside working in her garden. She wears a big straw hat and gardening gloves. I like to watch her digging in the dirt and pulling weeds. She has taught me about how to take care ofplants and what they need to grow big and strong. Plants need plenty of sunlight, water, and good soil. When Mrs. Jenkins has extra fruits or vegetables from her garden, she always gives me and my family some. The food from her garden tastes so fresh and delicious. My favorite things she grows are her strawberries and carrots. I eat the strawberries right off the plant when she lets me go into her garden. And the carrots are sweet and crunchy, not like the ones from the grocery store. In the fall, Mrs. Jenkins grows huge pumpkins in her garden. She lets me come over and pick one to make a jack-o-lantern for Halloween. Carving the pumpkins is one of my favorite activities every year. Mrs. Jenkins always does a great job carving scary faces into her pumpkins. One year she made one that looked just like a witch! After Halloween, she bakes pumpkin seeds and pumpkin bread to share with my family. It tastes amazing.Mrs. Jenkins is also really good at sewing and crafts. Sometimes I go over to her house and she teaches me how to sew or make fun crafts out of stuff like popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, and pom poms. One time we made these cool Christmas ornaments out of old cards and ribbons. I gave them to my parents and grandparents as gifts and they loved them. For my birthday last year, Mrs. Jenkins made me a whole set of doll clothes for my American Girl doll. She even copied the patterns from the doll's outfit onto the little dresses, shirts, and skirts she sewed. I couldn't believe how much time she spent making all those tiny clothes. It was the best present ever!In the winter, Mrs. Jenkins puts up the most amazing Christmas lights and decorations outside her house. She has huge bright lights outlining her roof, and these gorgeous glowing reindeer and snowmen on her lawn. My favorite is this life-size Santa Claus figure that waves whenever you walk by. Our whole neighborhood comes to see her light display every year. Sometimes we even bring thermoses of hot chocolate and make a night of it.On snowy days, Mrs. Jenkins is out there bright and early shoveling her driveway and walkway. She bundles up in a big puffy coat, boots, and one of those funny hats with ear flaps. Then she grabs her shovel and starts digging out from the snow. If I come outside to shovel our driveway too, she always comes over to help me when she's finished with her side. She says "many hands make light work!" which basically means it's easier with two people working together. Not only is Mrs. Jenkins an amazing gardener, crafter, and decorator - she also makes the BEST baked goods. For every holiday, she makes us plates and plates of homemade treats like sugar cookies, fudge, pies, and candies. My absolute favorite is her chocolate chip cookies though. They are crispy on the outside but soft and gooey in the middle. Whenever I smell them baking, I get so excited because I know she'll be bringing some over to share when they're done.Mrs. Jenkins is just such a kind, generous, and talented person. I feel so lucky to have her as my neighbor and friend. She is always looking out for me and doing nice things for our family.I try to be a good neighbor back to her by doing little things like shoveling her walkway if it snows when she's not home, or taking in her mail or newspapers when she goes out of town. I want to be able to take care of her the way she takes care of me.I really admire Mrs. Jenkins for being such an active person even though she's older. She is outside working in her yard pretty much every day when the weather is nice. And she stays busy all year with her gardening, baking, sewing, and other hobbies. She definitely doesn't act like a frail or feeble old lady at all! Mrs. Jenkins has so much energy and does so many cool, creative things. I hope I can be just like her when I'm her age.Overall, I feel very fortunate to live next door to such an amazing lady. Mrs. Jenkins makes our neighborhood a brighter, happier, and sweeter-smelling place with her beautiful garden, decorations, and delicious baked goods. She is caring and generous, and teaches me so many valuable skills. I don't know what I would do without her. Mrs. Jenkins is truly the world's greatest neighbor!篇3My Neighbor Mrs. JenkinsI live on a quiet street called Maple Lane. It's a nice neighborhood with lots of big trees and friendly people. My best friend Tyler lives a few houses down, and we play together almost every day after school. But my very favorite neighbor is Mrs. Jenkins, the sweet old lady who lives right next door.Mrs. Jenkins has lived in her little yellow house for as long as I can remember. She has white hair and wrinkly skin, and she always wears colorful dresses with flowers printed on them. Her house always smells like fresh-baked cookies or potpourri. I think she must be at least a hundred years old, but she's still very active and healthy.Every morning, I see Mrs. Jenkins out in her garden, tending to her beautiful flowers and vegetables. She has the most amazing garden, with roses and sunflowers and tomato plants galore. She's taught me all about how to plant seeds, pull weeds, and make the plants grow big and strong. Whenever I help her in the garden, she lets me take home some of the fresh fruits and veggies we've grown. Her strawberries are the juiciest I've ever tasted! After gardening, Mrs. Jenkins likes to sit out on her porch and read books or work on jigsaw puzzles. Sometimes I'll join her with my own book, and we'll read together in comfortable silence. Other times, she'll tell me fascinating stories about her childhood growing up on a farm, or about her travels to faraway places when she was younger. Mrs. Jenkins has had such an incredible life full of adventures! The best thing about Mrs. Jenkins is how kind and generous she is. She's always giving me little gifts like homemade treats, pretty rocks she's found, or small toys and books she picks up for me. For my last birthday, she knitted me a cozy sweater with my initial on it. Whenever my parents go out of town, Mrs. Jenkins is happy to look after me. We have popcorn and movie nights ather house, and she lets me pick out all my favorite snacks. She's like the grandmother I never had.I feel so lucky to have Mrs. Jenkins as my neighbor. She makes our street feel warm and welcoming, and adds so much joy to my life. With her caring heart, green thumb, and wonderful storytelling abilities, she's one of the coolest ladies I know. Mrs. Jenkins is truly one-of-a-kind, and I'll always cherish having her as my friend next door.篇4My Neighbor Mr. JenkinsI live in a small neighborhood with houses pretty close together. My best friend Tommy lives right next door, but the house on the other side belongs to my neighbor Mr. Jenkins. He's an older man, probably in his 70s, with gray hair and wrinkly skin. Some kids think he looks kind of scary, but I don't mind him at all. In fact, I really like Mr. Jenkins!Mr. Jenkins has lived on our street for as long as I can remember. Mom says he's been in that house for over 40 years. He retired from his job as an accountant a long time ago. Now he just putters around his house and yard all day. I don't have a grandfather myself, so I kind of think of Mr. Jenkins as a grandpa.Every morning, I see Mr. Jenkins out on his front porch drinking a cup of coffee. He always has this tattered brown robe and worn-out slippers on. If I'm headed to the bus stop, he'll wave at me and say "Morning!" in his raspy voice. After school, I sometimes catch him sitting in his old green chair, reading a book or magazine. He'll look up over his glasses and give me a little nod.On the weekends, Mr. Jenkins is usually in his backyard garden. He has the most amazing vegetable garden I've ever seen! There are rows and rows of plants - tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, cucumbers, peppers, you name it. The garden takes up almost his whole backyard. Mr. Jenkins is out there every Saturday and Sunday, watering the plants, pulling weeds, checking on the vegetables.Sometimes when I'm playing catch or shooting hoops out front, I'll hear Mr. Jenkins call out "Youngster! Come 'ere for a minute!" I'll wander over to his fence, and he'll have a salt shaker or something cupped in his big wrinkly hands. "These are for you," he'll rasp, and hand me a bunch of fresh radishes or a fat juicy tomato from his garden. "Don't eat 'em all at once now!" Those vegetables are absolutely delicious - way better than anything you get in the grocery store.A few times, I've even helped Mr. Jenkins do some gardening. He'll let me water the plants with the hose or dig around in the dirt looking for potatoes. I get pretty grubby, but I don't mind one bit. Mr. Jenkins just chuckles at me and says I'm a hard worker. After we're done in the garden, he always insists I come inside for a cold lemonade and one of the chocolate chip cookies his daughter bakes for him. The lemonade is fresh-squeezed and the cookies are the best!Mr. Jenkins's house doesn't look like much from the outside - it's pretty old and run-down. But inside, it's filled with all sorts of cool old stuff. There are shelves crammed with seashells, rocks, antique toys, and Native American arrowheads that he's collected over the years. He has an ancient baseball signed by some 1920s player hanging on the wall. In the corner is a hugeantlered deer head mounted in a glass case. Mr. Jenkins says it's a ten-point buck he shot decades ago on a hunting trip out west when he was young. Whenever I go in his house, there's always some new interesting object to look at.I like listening to Mr. Jenkins's stories about when he was a kid back in the 1940s and 50s. Things were so different back then! He tells me about working on his grandparents' farm, walking five miles to elementary school, and how he had to wear an itchywool suit on Sundays. He'll pull out old black-and-white photos and point out his mischievous younger self. Sometimes it's hard to imagine Mr. Jenkins was ever a little boy.Overall though, I really enjoy having Mr. Jenkins as my neighbor. He's funny in his own way, andI've learned a ton from all his stories and antique stuff. Plus, I get fresh vegetables galore during the summer! Whenever I rush out the door for the bus in the mornings, I make sure to wave at Mr. Jenkins on his front porch. I know he appreciates that a youngster like me篇5My Neighbor Mrs. JonesHi, my name is Jamie and I'm 8 years old. I live in a small town called Oakville with my mom, dad, and little brother Tommy. We live in a nice little house with a big backyard that has a swing set and a tree fort that my dad built for us. Our neighbor Mrs. Jones lives right next door in the yellow house. She's an older lady with white hair and glasses. I really like Mrs. Jones a lot - she's my favorite neighbor!Mrs. Jones is really nice. She always has a big smile on her face and likes to wave at me when I'm playing outside. Sometimes if I'm riding my bike up and down the sidewalk, she'llcome out and say "Hi Jamie! Getting your exercise in I see!" and I'll wave back and pedal even faster. Other times if I'm jumping on the trampoline, she'll poke her head over the fence and say "My goodness, how high can you jump?" Then she'll laugh and go back inside. I like making her laugh.Every Saturday, Mrs. Jones does yard work and gardening in her backyard. She has the most beautiful flower garden with roses, tulips, daffodils and all sorts of colorful flowers. She spends hours pulling weeds, watering the plants, and making sure everything looks nice. Sometimes I'll go over and help her out by picking up sticks or pulling a few easy weeds. She always thanks me and lets me smell the different flowers. My favorite is the roses - they have such a pretty sweet smell! After working hard in her garden, Mrs. Jones likes to sit out on her porch and relax. She'll read books or just sit there watching the birds and squirrels running around. If it's a really hot day, she'll make a tall glass of lemonade and sip on it slowly. Once, she saw me playing catch with my dad and brought us each a glass of her lemonade. It was the most delicious, most perfect lemonade I've ever tasted! She said she puts in a secret ingredient but wouldn't tell us what it was.The best thing about Mrs. Jones is that she always has treats for the neighborhood kids. She's an amazing baker and is always making cookies, pies, cakes and other yummy desserts. Whenever I see her pulling something out of the oven, I'll run over and she'll give me a new creation to try. Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite, but she makes the most incredible peanut butter fudge too. One time for my birthday, she made me a huge chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and candy sprinkles on top. It was so rich and delicious! At Christmas time, Mrs. Jones goes all out decorating the outside of her house with bright lights and decorations. She has a life-size Santa, a reindeer that seems to be flying, and lights shaped liked candy canes lined all along the roof. She always hosts a neighborhood Christmas party too where Santa comes and we can all tell him what we want for presents. One year, I asked Santa for a new basketball and Mrs. Jones must have overheard because she got me one for Christmas! She wrapped it up so nicely with a big red bow.Sometimes on weekends, Mrs. Jones's grandkids will come over to visit her. She has two granddaughters named Emma and Sarah who are twins. They're a few years older than me but still like to come outside and play games. We'll have competitions tosee who can do the most cartwheels across the yard or who can jump rope the longest without messing up. The twins are pretty good, but I usually end up winning! After we play for a while, Mrs. Jones will bring us out snacks and juice boxes to recharge.Every now and then, my mom will have me take some extra dessert or a home-cooked meal over to Mrs. Jones's house. She lives all alone, so my mom likes to make sure she has plenty to eat. Mrs. Jones is always so thankful and gives me a big hug when I bring her things. She'll say "Jamie, you're such a sweet young man! Make sure to give your mom a huge hug for me!" Then she'll pat me on the head before I go. I don't mind doing little things to help her out at all.I just really love Mrs. Jones so much! She's like the grandmother I never had since my grandparents live far away. She's kind, generous, and is always doing nice things for me and the other kids in the neighborhood. Whenever I think about who my favorite person is, I always say "Mrs. Jones, the best neighbor ever!" I hope she lives next door for a long, long time. Our neighborhood just wouldn't be the same without her!篇6My Neighbor Mrs. JonesMrs. Jones lives next door to me and she is my favorite neighbor. She is an old lady with gray hair and she always wears colorful dresses with floral prints. Every time I see her, she has a big smile on her face and she calls me by my name, "Hi there, Johnny!"Mrs. Jones has the most beautiful garden in our whole neighborhood. She grows all kinds of pretty flowers like roses, tulips, and sunflowers. She also has a vegetable garden with tomatoes, carrots, and peas. In the summer, she lets me help her water the plants and pull out the weeds. I love getting my hands dirty in the soil and learning about how plants grow. The best part about Mrs. Jones' garden is that she lets me pick the vegetables and flowers whenever I want. She teaches me which ones are ready to be picked and how to do it without hurting the plant. Then I get to take them home and my mom helps me wash them. The carrots are so crunchy and sweet, and the flowers make our house look and smell amazing.Mrs. Jones is also really good at baking. She makes the most delicious pies, cookies, and cakes. Whenever it's someone's birthday on our street, she bakes them a special treat. For my last birthday, she made me a huge chocolate cake with greenfrosting because she knows green is my favorite color. It was so rich and yummy!I really lucked out having Mrs. Jones as my neighbor. She is always so nice to me and teaches me lots of fun things about gardening and baking. Someday, I want to have my own garden and bake treats for my neighbors, just like Mrs. Jones does. She is kind, patient, and makes the world a little bit sweeter.。
