1、Can I ask a favour? 能帮我个忙吗？这是请求帮助的一种表达方式，类似的说法还有：

2、lend vs borrow
两者都表示“借”，但借的方向不一样，_________指“借入，借来”，而_________则指“借出，借给” 表示“向某人借某物”用borrow sth from sb；表示“把某物借给某人”用lend sth to sb= lend sb sth e.g. Can he _________ (borrow / lend) his football to us ?

3、Do you mean using paper? 你的意思是使用纸张?
mean作动词，有两个意思, 注意区分：

4、see to sth./sb. 表示“处理（= deal with）；照顾，关照(= look after)”。
