The Great Sports Personality教学设计双鸭山市第一中学赵志成一、教学内容分析本模块的教学内容是外研版高中英语教科书必修五第5模块,中心话题是学生比较感兴趣的体育和体育明星。

因为本模块的Introduction 和writing两部分充分体现了教材“题材-功能-结构-任务”的编写原则,前后联系密切,过渡自然,导入方式非常符合学生心理特点和接受能力,于是我在第一课时中把Introduction部分与writing的短文阅读理解和写作相结合,并融合workbook中的部分相关内容进行教学,以期找到最适合学生英语学习的途径和方法,达到最好的授课效果。

为此,在设计本课时,让学生首先了解与体育和体育明星有关的词汇和知识,鼓励学生学习这些明星中的拼搏的精神。

通过阅读两篇短文和写作练习,了解如何写有关体育赛事的书面通知和介绍体育赛事,培养学生的读写的综合技能,以及分析和概括能力。

更多地去了解北京奥运会的影响力,增强学生的爱国热情,培养其爱国意识。

达到最终的教学目的。

二、学情分析高二学生,通过高一的学生,对于高中教材已经有所了解,同时在英语的听说读写方面也有了一定的基础。

但由于我校的学生来自市区及矿区、县区等不同区域,学生原有的英语基础和能力就有很大的差距。

虽然经过了一年的学习,有些学生已经有所好转,但班级中还是存在学生间的差距过大的问题,而且学生个人也存在英语不同能力上的水平差异,语言知识能力强,语言运用能力弱的现象普遍存在,致使有些学生缺乏参与教学活动和语言实践活动的积极性,无法形成有效的学习策略。

英语课程标准规定英语教学的任务:“激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习能力和合作精神”,因此,在本课的教学中,采用讨论、视听、朗读等形式开展学习活动,倡导学生的体验和参与。

通过完成多种学习任务,形成积极的学习态度,改进学生的语言实践能力和创新思维能力的发展,促进语言实际运用能力的提高。
