The development of Japanese goods in futureSince ancient times, the relationship of China and Japan has been in a state of tension. Nowadays, the dispute issue of the Diaoyu Islands has become another conflict between China and Japan. In order to dampen to the arrogance of Japan, many patriots have made a proposal to refuse to buy Japanese goods. However, Chinese boycotts of Japanese goods are good or not. Different people have different ideas. As we all know, China is Japan's biggest consumer. Therefore, many ignorant people think that not buying Japanese products can damage its economy so that it can knuckle down under the economic pressure. Statistics show that if all Chinese do not buy any Japanese products in two months, its economy will collapse. But in fact, it is impossible for Chinese not buying Japanese brands because Japanese products have been deep in our lives which can not completely refuse. Moreover, in the era of economic globalization, damaging any countries will affect the economic interests of ours own. So some rational people think it harms others without benefiting ourselves and people should not treat political issues and economic issues in the same attitude. But can the economy and politic really separate from each other? From another perspective, there are more and more peoplesupporting the purchase of domestic products. A lot of people believe that domestic products are cheaper than foreign goods and their technique is also advanced. On the contrary, people who are near to xenophilia (the love of anyone but us) firmly believe that the quality of foreign products is always better. Although Japan has some of the famous old brands, one after another accident like Siemens event has occurred in China which greatly has a bad influence on Chinese consumers in recent years. All in all, trust in Japanese brand is gradually reduced. Thus should we still buying Japanese products in confidence?Thirdly, there is a view that Japanese products will not only promote the economic development, but also increase the competitiveness of domestic products. Yet many people who have strong national pride, particularly in the period that the relationship between China and Japan is extreme tension, still have very strong resistance to Japanese products. More importantly, in the new high-tech products emerging era, many foreign products really promote the development of China's high-tech industries such as Huawei, Mione. It also makes more people believe that the quality of the state-owned brands can be comparable with the international brands. Consequently, could we buy domestic products instead of Japanese? As far as I’m concerned, we should be rational consumers. In the process of buying goods, if we encounter good domestic goods, we should make a decisive choice, not be xenophilia; in addition, if the Japanese products have a good reputation, high quality and technology, we should not reject them too. We should be patriots in a rational manner which can promote and maintain our market’s economy. Furthermore, as a consumer, I think only the quality and credibility of national industrial truly improve which can reach the ultimate purpose of boycott of Japanese goods.。

Diaoyu Island, also known as Senkaku Islands, is a group of uninhabited islands in the East China Sea. The islands have been a source of territorial dispute between China, Japan, and Taiwan for many years. The dispute over Diaoyu Island is mainly due to its strategic location and potential access to rich fishing grounds and oil reserves. Both China and Japan claim historical ownership of the islands, leading to tensions and occasional confrontations between the two countries. The United States has a security treaty with Japan, which has further complicated the situation. The U.S. has stated that the islands fall under the scope of the treaty, which means that it would be obligated to defend Japan in case of a conflict over the islands. The dispute over Diaoyu Island has also led to anti-Japanese protests in China and strained diplomaticrelations between the two countries. The issue remains a sensitive and contentious topic in East Asia, with no clear resolution in sight. In conclusion, the dispute over Diaoyu Island is a complex and volatile issue that has the potential to escalate into a larger conflict. It is important for all parties involved to engage in peaceful dialogue and find a diplomatic solution to the dispute.。

The History of the Diaoyu Island

The History of the Diaoyu Island

The History of the Diaoyu Island Over the years, the issue concerning the Diaoyu Island between China and Japan has been a hot potato, especially the fierce dispute involving the two countries has evoked public indignation these days. Worse still, Japan’s ship sailed into the Diaoyu Island more than one time, which infringes the sovereignty of China and overlooks the history of the Diaoyu Island of the world. To the best of our knowledge, the Diaoyu Island has always been the Chinese inherent territory from the long history allowing no’s interference. From the earlier history, we acknowledge the fact that Diaoyu Dao was first discovered, named and exploited by China. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, Diaoyu Dao had long been under China's jurisdiction, and the islands were recorded in many historical documents. Additionally, Chinese and foreign maps show that Diaoyu Dao belongs to China. It’s a plausible evidence that a map published by Japan between 1783 and 1785, marking the boundary of the Ryukyu Kingdom, the Diaoyu islands were show n as a belonging to China. However, owing to the weakness in Qing’s national comprehensive strength, the former China has suffered continuously from Western countries’ invasions. In April 1895, the government of the Qing Dynasty was forced to sign the Treaty of Shimonoseki, under which China ceded the whole island of Taiwan and its surrounding islands including the Penghu Islands to Japan. But after a period of years, the internationalsituation dramatically changed. As it was defeated in the World War∥,Japan was occupied by the USA. In 1951, Japan and the United States illegally signed a treaty in San Francisco without the presence of China, which was one of the victor countries in the Second World War. The event showed that Diaoyu Dao was returned to China after the Second World War. Meanw hile, there’s no evidence indicating the motions that Japan Grabbed Diaoyu Dao from China is internationally legal.Above the historical events, we Chinese urge Japan to look squarely at the history that the Diaoyu Island is the Chinese inherent territory, not to try to overturn the history again.。

Diaoyu island in my eyes

Diaoyu island in my eyes

Diaoyu Islands in My ViewThe controversial dispute on the sovereignty of Diaoyu Islands stems from the outward expansion of Japan at the end of the 19th century, which is a historic issue. It is an important, sensitive subject for both sides to cope with and becomes a crucial thing for bilateral ties. Recently the tension over Japan’s illegal detention of Chinese fishing boat and its captain is snowballing into a political storm, in which China expressed its grave concern over this event and hoped that it would not escalate.Let’s have a brief look at the background and the history of these controversial islands, Diaoyu Islands, which are just located at the adjacent border with Japan and Taiwan. Diaoyu Islands, also Senkaku in Japanese, are uninhabited small islands, which cover less than 6.5 square kilometers and include Diaoyu Isle, Huangwei Isle, Chiwei Isle, South Isle and North Isle. The discovery of this uninhabited island, Diaoyu Isle, stems from Ming Dynasty. Its initial record comes from a book, which was finished at 1403. At first, it was affiliated with the Fujian Province and belonged to Taiwan Province at the beginning of Qing Dynasty. So China now has abundant evidence of claiming for these islands. But Japan never ever buys ourarguments for he has his own reason to say. What is it? Let’s have a look. Japan forced the Qing government to sign the Treaty of Shimonoseki after the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 and snatched the Diaoyu Isle and the affiliated isles around it. After the surrender of Japan in 1945, according to the Cairo Declaration and Potsdam Proclamation, Japan was obligated to return Taiwan and its affiliated islands at once. But as a matter of fact, the United States administered Okinawa Islands after the WWII. And the United States reverted both Okinawa and Diaoyu Islands to Japan as a package at the year of 1971, which was described by China as a mine planted by the United States for Sino-Japanese foreign relationship. Of course, as you can imagine, China regards this protocol as illegal and invalid. As the passage of the time, rich resources were explored around these islands. This is of great essence for such a country with immense shortage of raw materials and resources. So it’s logical for them to hold these uninhabited islands tightly. Actually, in my point of view, Japan just wanted to seize this opportunity to show threat to or challenge the China’s powerful status on the south sea issues. He clearly knew the end of the game that this detention could for sure cause great outcry fromthe side of China and he would release the captain at last. What he wanted to do was just to make a show for some China’s neighborhoods especially the countries located around the south sea and remind all the countries in Asia of WHO is No.1 here! If the fact is really like what I guess, I have to say that Japan is not only a hysterical but also a disgusting nation as well. I really feel disappointed for Japan’s immature reaction on handling with affairs with the other countries. China has been tolerant enough, and we need to make some strong measures for this outrageous Japan at once.。

Brian Pohan LeeRhetoric 12 Writing AssignmentSept 20th, 2012Mr. VirgiliUnderstanding ArgumentA news editor from the New York Times, Nicholas Kristof claimed his opinion of the issue of Diaoyu Island by his writing “Look Out for the Diaoyu Islands”. In the beginning of the passage, he briefly introduced the current situation of the Diaoyu Islands. Then he states that he thinks that China has a better claim Diaoyu Island. In order to make a logic and convincible argument, he expresses his ideas from different perspectives and phases.Kristof first discussed the situation within Asia. One problem is that the nationalists in both China and Taiwan steadily claim that the islands are unquestionably theirs and they are angry with their governors that the leaders are too weak to win their property back. If the already weakened Chinese leaders try to win the trust of its people by strictly opposing Japan and pushing the issue within the nation, the authorities can therefore be able to raise its popularity. Concurrently, however, it would bring up the dangerous relation between China and Japan. Then Kristof brought up the statue and influence of America and concluded that although America should help Japan defend Japan’s territory according to the treaty, the area was too ambiguous for America, since America won’t be stupid enough to risk a nuclear war with China over some barren rocks that might well be China’s. Atlast, the author revealed his own thoughts. He thought it was impossible for those two countries to talk on the International Court of Justice and military conflicts would be happening soon. The author used his entire passage to state his argument over the issue of Diaoyu Island, which is a hot topic recently. He answered the questions such as: “Wh ich countries are involved in this issue and in which ways?” or “ what do you think is the best way to solve the current problem?” By answering them, Kristof successfully preceded his arguments. The whole report is subjective and calm. The author may therefore be claimed as an arguer as lover. He revealed all information, including the ones that may weaken his own argument (e.g. He pointed out America was in an absurd position) and explicitly stated his own. Though his own opinion may not as strong as the ones in a debate, the reasoning of the opinion is well structured. As one of the editors of a well-known newspaper, he is surely not recommended to be offensive, objective or make any attempt to set the readers as their adversaries.。

My Strategy to Deal with the Issue of the Diaoyu Islands There is a heated issue having been discussed all over the world for a long time that how to deal with the dispute of the Diaoyu Islands, which is a troublesome international problem. In fact, it is known to all that the Diaoyu Islands belongs to our territory and we must firmly upheld state sovereignty and territorial integrity, which has been evolved in the One-China Principle since our nation was founded in 1949. Nevertheless, the Japanese government thinks that they have the right to control the Diaoyu Islands because of their imagination that the oil sources deep in the ocean belongs to them, and they announced that they should fight for the territorial of their states. These mentioned above have intrigued me to dig the reasons why the Diaoyu Islands is so important to Japan. As I know, firstly, there are enormous amount of gas and oil sources which are so precious and valuable to an island nation like Japan that these can bring immense financial benefits to their country. Secondly, the fishery resources are always eye-catching attraction to the Japanese government. Third, if Japan snatched the ownership of the Diaoyu Islands, they would extend the territory successfully and became much stronger than before. The last but not the least, the Diaoyu Islands has the military value to Japan. Not only as a college student but a Chinese citizen, from my perspective, we should immediately take active and forceful actions to deal with the knotty issue.First of all, I think, in the long term, the essential action we should take is to strengthen our country’s economic power because the financial strength is the basis of a developing country to protect itself from territory invasion. Comparatively, Japan is a developed country with strong economic strength although its founding history is not long, so it dare to provoke the dispute regardless of the purposes of the United Nations that to maintain international peace and security. Consequently, strengthening China economic strength has become the necessarily basic part of steps to deal with the tough issue. But now it is urgent for to us to announce the dominion of the Diaoyu Islands so we should insist this basic plan; meanwhile, we need to find other seasonable measures. In my opinion, reinforcing military power is another essential step to uphold the Diaoyu Islands. We can introduce military weapons from the country that has the high technology in military arms. Once we have high-backed military weapons, Japan will have no opportunity to slander that the Diaoyu Islands is theirs. In more specific terms, the Department of Defense of our state should send warships to patrol around the Diaoyu Islands, which can declare the sovereignty of the islands.Thirdly, our government should call out all Chinese to adhere to the united front. Actually, we should learn from Japan because they allow the civic groups to fight in their ways, so it is obvious that the government should cooperate with the citizens. The fisherman should be encouraged to extend the scope of fishing and supported to go to the Diaoyu Islands with the insurance of fishermen’s lifesafety. And what’s more, we can develop the fishery of the Diaoyu Islands and vitalize the commence market of the Diaoyu Islands and can attract the foreign investors come to China, which proclaim that the Diaoyu Islands belongs to the People’s Public of China.Taking all the strategies mentioned above into consideration, we can easily draw a conclusion that we need being mentally prepared because the issue of the Diaoyu Islands cannot be easily fixed in time and it is bound to be a protracted war. As patriotic Chinese citizens, the only thing we can do is to obey the government’s arrangement and offer advices and suggestions actively. In addition, we should keep it in mind that the Diaoyu Islands is indispensable part of our territory from the ancient times and it has become an ancient history to the whole world and the Diaoyu Islands will still belong to our state for next hundreds of thousands of centuries.。

Everyone has his own dream. My dream is to be a soldier.A few years ago, at the celebration of the 60th birthday of the motherland, I was impressed by the charm of the Chinese people's Liberation Army: the air force, the army, the Navy. When rows of people walked through Tiananmen Square, I was deeply attracted and shocked by the neat pace, heroic posture, solemn slogans, and advanced weapons and equipment! At that time, an idea came into being from the bottom of my heart: I want to be a soldier and be a Chinese soldier! Soldiers are the defenders of the motherland. During the war of resistance against Japan, the Chinese people's Liberation Army (PLA) shed its blood in the war to defend the country, laid a solid foundation for the integrity of the country's borders with their blood and bodies, and opened a new chapter in Chinese history. The heroic PLA has become the cutest person! The end of the war of resistance against Japan did not end the mission of the people's army. In a peaceful era of family reunion and happiness, our pla soldiers are still stationed in the border of themotherland, always on alert and protecting the integrity of the country! Today, the Diaoyu island dispute has once again brought the issue of sovereignty to the table. The people's army is always ready to make first-class war preparations for the territorial integrity of the motherland! Soldiers are the patron saint of the people. Earthquake, flood, drought. As long as there are difficulties, there are soldiers! In the current Ya'an earthquake, it is our people's Liberation Army that is at the forefront, and it is still our soldiers who are at the most dangerous juncture! That is the figure of a hero! Is the embodiment of a warrior! Regardless of personal safety, the interests of the people first! Our soldiers have no regrets about this sacred mission! No matter in history or in modern times, no matter in border areas or at home, Chinese soldiers have composed one song of life after another! I love soldiers, I want to be a soldier! I am looking forward to growing up quickly, putting on my attractive military uniform and going to the Diaoyu Islands and Ya'an City of the motherland! Continue to write a sacred chapter for soldiers!

初中英语作文:钓鱼岛事件的讨论DiaoyuIsland(最新版)编制人:__________________审核人:__________________审批人:__________________编制学校:__________________编制时间:____年____月____日序言作文(composition)是经过人的思想考虑和语言组织,通过文字来表达一个主题意义的记叙方法。

The issu about DiaoyuIsland is very popular recently. That is the thing between Chinese andJapanese. In China, there are many people do something extremly in order toshow their love for the country. For example, some people distroy the Japanesecar, whose owner is Chinese. Even some people beat the Japanese, who is inChina. I could’t make my mind to agree those behaviers, though I love mycountry. In my opinion, those people or things pruducted by Japan are innocent. They didn’t do anything wrong. We should defend our country in a suitable way. Otherwise,we would be looked down upon by Japanese.
