Real Life Is Not an Open-book Test.
Having read the passage of Bob Greene’s view of college life and real life, I am wrapped in thoughts. Is the collage life, like what Bob Greene said, much more complicated than real life? Is the real life an open-book test? However, after my repeated thinking, I have different opinion concerning the attitude towards collage life and real life.
Collage life can be really easy when we do our own business well. Though collage life has a great many test beyond count, what the test focus on are what we learn during the semester and what we are supposed to master. If we pay enough attention to the professors in class, finish homework on time and review in time, we won’t be afraid of the finals. Not only can the professors accurately gauge the amount a student is learning, but also the student is able to find his weaknesses and have a better grasp of what he has learned.
However, far from an open-book test, not only is real life a test that you can never get fully ready for, but also you can, by no means, retake it. Because in reality, instead of knowing the examination range, we can’t anticipate what will occur tomorrow and have no idea about what should be prepared for. In a word, real life is filled with uncertainty.
Therefore, unlike what Bob Greene said, failure and success, ups and downs are the characteristic of real life, which is not easy as one would assume.。
