condensation imprints in the spectrum of light scattered from atoms in such a condensate[2,3].As well known,to deal with the dynamics of BEC gas the Bogolubov approxima-tion in quantum many-body theory[4]is an efficient approach,in which the creation and annihiliation operators for condensated atoms are substituted by c-numbers.One shortcoming of this method is that the total atomic particle-number may not be con-served after the approximation.Or a symmetry may be broken.To remedy this default,Gardiner[5]suggested a modified Bogolubov approximation by introducing phonon operators which conserve the total atomic particle number N and obey the bosonic commutation relation in the case of N→∞.In this sense,this phonon oper-ator approach gives an elegant infinite atomic particle-number approximation theory for BEC taking into account the conservation of the total atomic number.Along this line,the case offinite number of particle has been recentely investi-gated[6],and the algebraic method of treating the effects offinite particle number in the atomic BEC has been developed.It results a physical and natural realization of the quantum group theory[7]in the BEC systems,whose possibility was already suggested in[8],thought in a different manner.Here,we shall use the deformed algebra to study the response of a condensate withfinite number of atoms to the laser light and focus our attention on steady-state excitation.We consider a system of weakly interacting Bose gas in a trap and a classical radiationfield interacting with these two-level atoms,where b†,b denote the creation and annihiliation operators for the atoms in the excited state;a†,a,the creation and annihiliation operators for the atoms in the ground state.These operators satisfy theusual bosonic commutation relations.The Hamiltonian of the model readsH=¯h̟b†b+¯h g(t)b†a+g∗(t)ba† ,(1) where g(t)is a time-dependent coupling coefficient for the(classical)laserfield coupled to those two states with level difference¯h̟.Usually,the time dependence of g(t)is given by g exp(−iΩt),withΩbeing the frequency of the laser beam.Note that,with the =7.35GeV −1and anisotropy of six.Meson correlators are computed using all-to-all propagators together with variational analysis.1.INTRODUCTIONIn recent years,there has been renewed interest in charm physics.Many new states such as the X(3872),the Y(4260)and the D sJ have been observed [1,2,3,4,5]and their precise measurement including J P C numbers,has become an important topic both experimentally and theoretically.In principle,lattice QCD should be able to answer these questions from first principles but it requires high precision numerical simulations.In this region of the quark mass relativistic effects could be im-portant.However,simulations of the charm quark with isotropic lattices are expensive.In this study we use a relativistic anisotropic lattice formulation with N f =2dynamical quarks to study charmonium and D s spectra.In this formulation,the lattice is dis-cretized along the spatial,a s ,and temporal,a t ,direc-tions with ξ=a s /a t ≫1.Anisotropic lattices have the advantage of having small discretization errors in the temporal direction whilst keeping the computa-tional cost down.In addition,keeping a small tem-poral lattice spacing allows us to increase the number of time slices which in turn makes it easier to iden-tify the plateau regions in effective mass plots.It is difficult to achieve this using isotropic lattices since the heavy hadron correlators with a charm or bottom quark have a signal that decays rapidly.Our aim is to be able to extract the excited spectra with small statistical errors.Our lattice actions are described in section 2.In section 3we summarize the parameters and the inter-polating operators used in the simulation.In section 4we discuss the method to obtain excited spectra.In conclusion,we discuss our results and future plans.ξ0g5(1+w )3u 8S Ω(2t )s−13u 2s u 2tΩt −12x,i>j 1−P ij (x )P ij (x +ˆt ).This action has lead-ing discretization errors of O (a 4s ,a 2t ,αs a 2s ).The O (a 3s ,a t ,αs a s )-improved anisotropic quark ac-tion [8]is given byS q =¯ψ γ0∇0+ iµr γi ∇i 1−12∆i 0+sa 3si∆2i +m 0ψ,(2)where r and s are the Wilson parameters and µr =(1+ra t m 0/2).The derivatives are defined as ∇µψ(x )=1a 2µU µ(x )ψ(x +ˆµ)+U †µ(x −ˆµ)ψ(x −ˆµ)−2ψ(x )],(4)and ξ0q is the bare quark anisotropy.In order to max-imize the plaquette stout links [7]are used.We used the same quark action to simulate 22γ3t 3−γ1t 1−γ2t 23−−13D 3Hybridγ× u4.ANALYSISTime diluted all-to-all propagators introduce ran-dom noise at each time slice which makes it difficult toindentify a plateau region in the effective mass plots which fluctuate more than point-to-all propagators.However,we fit the correlators and a better picture can be obtained from “sliding window”plots (or tmin plots).For a fixed value of some t max ,we vary the tmin value and plot the fitted mass.This is illustrated in Figs.1and 2for the J/ψand D s 0−and 1−states,respectively [14,15].We choose our fits based on theχ2/N d f (<2),fit range (where the fits are stable)and the fit quality (Q >0.2).These values are chosen from our earlier simluations with smaller lattices.Most of our results have better χ2and Q values.We performed the same 1−−0−splitting is 143.8MeV.5.Conclusions and OutlookWe have presented our preliminary results for the charmonium and D s systems from N f =2dynamical anisotropic lattices.All-to-all propagators are essen-tial in this study and allow us to use a wide range of operators and the variational analysis.For the char-monium system we have good signals for the S,P and D waves and the 1−+hybrid.We are planning to ex-pand the simulation to include the 1−−D-waves and other hybrids.We found the hyperfine splitting in this system to be small.The effect of the chromomagnetic term,c B Σ·B ,disconnected diagrams and stout link smearing are being investigated as possible reasons for this.The D s system is simulated with a low level of di-lution.A simulation with a higher level of dilution for this system,with a wider range of operators,isbeingm /G e VJ PC0- +1- -2S+1L J 1+ -1+ +0+ +2+ +2 - +2- -3- -1- +1S 03S 11P 13P 03P 11P 21D 23D 23D 3HYBRIDFigure 3:Preliminary charmonium spectrum for the lat-tices spacings are currently under investigation.The results clearly demonstrate the power of the all-to-all propagators combined with a variational analysis.We have extracted a large number of
