英国名校专业简介之——华威大学
华威大学位于考文垂市南部、紧邻华威郡,是一所从事高等教育的国际化院校,在英国国家大学排名中位居前列。

华威大学所在地考文垂市距离英国第二大城市伯明翰市只有20分钟车程。

乘火车1个半小时（汽车2小时）可抵达伦敦。

学校拥有三处现代化校园,较小的Westwood和Gibbet Hill校园距离中央校园大约10分钟步行距离。

在学校附近有伟大的中世纪城堡：KENILWORTH 和 WARWICK。

莎士比亚的故乡也近在咫尺,那里有皇家莎士比亚演出公司的三个剧院,周围的乡村景色美丽如画。

华威大学拥有一座环境宜人、十分现代化并且维护得很好的校园。

大多数学院建筑均集中在中央区,与中央区相距不远即是藏书80万册的图书馆。

图书馆每周开放7天,除提供教学和研究所需的文字材料外,还有计算机和网络,馆际借记等服务。

学校备有专门的计算机设施和网络支持系统,备有最新的各种应用软件。

全体学生均可使用电子邮件及国际互联网。

学院内的大型艺术中心远近闻名,是英国最大的艺术中心,每年约有25万人到此参观。

例如,位于校园中心位置的体育运动中心,提供多种优秀的体育运动设施,设有6个游泳池和攀沿室、举重中心、健身房等。

校内其他设施包括电影院、美术馆、剧院、音乐中心、商店、洗衣店、银行、医疗中心、14座餐馆以及咖啡馆。

学校最显著的特点是与金融界、商业界及制造业的企业有密切联系。

学院教育融合教学与研究与一体,共有18个专业系,拥有优秀的研究环境,开设90的余门课程涉及人类学、理科学、社会科学等学科,是一所可以授予硕士学位以及博士学位的高等院校。
