（一）：大鹏所城，位于广东省深圳市龙岗区大鹏镇鹏城村。

国家文物级保护单位。

大鹏所城被评为“深圳八景”之首。

始建于明洪武二十七年（公元1394年）。

大鹏所城占地面积达10万平方米. 它是明清两代中国南部的海防军事要塞，有着600多年抵御外侮的历史，涌现了一批杰出的民族英雄。

明代有武略将军刘钟、徐勋; 清代有赖氏“三代五将”、刘氏“父子将军”等十几个将军，所城因之享有“将军村”的美誉。

清代的赖恩爵将军取得了鸦片战争首战——九龙海战的胜利，是深圳历史最辉煌的一页，在中国近代史上占有重要地位。

深圳今又名“鹏城”即源于此。

Dapeng Ancient City, or Dapeng Fortress, is located in Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. It is one of the most important historical relics in Guangdong and the top one in the “8 Views in Shenzhen”. First built in the year 1394 in Ming Dynasty, Dapeng Ancient City covers an area of 100,000 square meters. It is an important sea security defence works in Ming and Qing Dynasty in Southern China and has a history of 600 years of resisting aggressions from foreign countries.
A bunch of outstanding national heroes emerged, such as General Liu zhong , Xu Yun in Ming Dynasty, the “five generals from three generations of the Lai’s’ and the “Father and Son generals of the Liu’s” in Qing Dynasty. So Dapeng Ancient City is also well known as a “City of Generals”. General Lai En jue in Qing Dynasty led the first victory of the Opium War---- the QiuLong sea war, which is a dazzling part in the history of Shenzhen and the near history of China. Because of this, Shenzhen is also known as “the City of Peng”.
（二）：大鹏所城是全国保存最完整的明清海防卫所，是研究明代卫所军事制度的重要题材。

古城还保存了独特的民俗文化，是岭南文化的重要组成部分，古城的语言也非常独特，是研究古代“军语”的“活化石”。

2003年10月8日，大鹏所城所在的鹏城村被建设部和国家文物局公布为“中国历史文化名村”。

Dapeng Ancient City is the most well preserved sea defence works of Ming and Qing Dynasty in China, so it is very important for people to study the sea defence system of Ming and Qing Dynasty. The unique folk culture is also well preserved in the ancient city, which is an important section of the Lingnan culture. Its language is also very unique, which is the “living fossil” for people to study the ancient military language. Peng cheng village, where the Dapeng Ancient City is located, was announced as “A Famous Chinese History and Culture Village” by the Chinese authorities.
（三）：大鹏古城雄伟庄重、风格古朴的城门（南门、东门、西门）和明清时期民居
保存完好；狭窄蜿蜓的小巷以青石板铺就，宁静古朴；数座建筑宏伟、独具特色的清代“将军第”有序分布。

其中以抗英名将赖恩爵的振威将军第最为壮观，该将军第有150年的历史，拥有数十栋屋宇、厅、房、井、廊、院等，其中牌匾众多，雕梁画柱，是广东省不可多得的大型古建筑。

从这些民居的特点来看，具有广府和客家两处民居的综合的特点，因为深圳处于广东三大民系（广府、客家、潮汕）的交汇点上，而大鹏又处这个交汇点的东北角上。

这个特殊的地理位置，造就了大鹏民居的这种特殊风格。

There are grand and solemn old gates in Dapeng Ancient City, including the Southern Gate, the Eastern Gate and the Western Gate. And the traditional residences of Ming and Qing Dynasty in the city are among the most well-preserved ones in Guangdong Province. The narrow alleys winding through the old houses were made of slabstone, peaceful and archaic. Several grand and unique “Generals’ residences”line in the ancient city, among which General Lai En jue’s residence is most glamorous. With a history of 150 years, the residence has a number of houses, halls, corridors and yards decorated by numerous plaques, drawings and sculptures, making it a rare ancient building in Guangdong Province.
As Shenzhen lies on the intersection of the three main folk groups, Guangfu, Kejia and Chaoshan, these traditional residences have both the characteristics of Guangfu and Kejia, which makes them special and unique.。
