1. Kitchen ventilation need to be advised by Kitchen Consultant.
2. There are range hood exhaust, general kitchen exhaust and
dishwashing exhaust. 3. Provide only metallic ductwork. Avoid internal duct liner on all supply air ductwork. Where internal liner is
required for acoustical purposes, use Armacell Armaflex duct liner or sound traps to obtain noise reduction only, and use bare
metallic ductwork for the remainder. Cleaning access doors for air duct shall be at every change of direction and every 5 meters
of straight run. 4. Kitchen extract system requires access doors at every 3 meters.. 5. The range hood exhaust ducts are to be
fabricated of stainless steel. 7. Volume control dampers shall be provided to allow the system to be effectively
balanced/commissioned. Duct access doors shall be provided to all fire dampers, volume control dampers, duct mounted control
items and for cleaning purposes.

The equipment must be comprised fo Underwriters Laboratory approved equipment and devices. Strobe notification appliances
shall be provided. A manual fire alarm pull station capable of sounding a general alarm must be located behind the front desk.
The panel must not be located in the back wall facing the registration desk. Guestroom and each livable space of a suite shall be
equipped with smoke detectors which shall be hard-wired and locally annuciated(within each room)

Dimming system shall be installed in Lobby, Lobby Bar, Restaurants, Function rooms, Ballroom, Nightclub, Bar, Executive
Lounge, SPA and Sauna.

The floor is to be designed to accommodate a live load of 250lbs.per sq.ft.(1220 kilograms per Meter Square) Isolated slabs are
strongly recommended. Line chute termination must clear a five-foot high(1.5m) cart. Provide at least one small machine of 50-75
pound capacity in each hotel. Size dryers to process 40% or greater of the wash load. Ironer will process 60-70% of the wash
load. Ironer must be able to process 2.9mx3.2m sheets. Provide an independent mechanically refrigerated HVAC system for the
laundry. Provide exhaust canopy over all ironers. Provide water softening for laundry if domestice water supply exceeds five
grains of hardness. A minimum light level of eight(800 foot-candles,(861 lux) measured at 36''(900mm) above finished floor, must
be provided in the laundry. The central air compressor plant is to consist of at least 2 compressors. Provide 80-100 psi(5.5-
7.0bar) compressed air to washer/extractors, large dryers and folders as required. The air intake from the compressors is to draw
air from a cool area other than the machine room. Provide a tough drain under th centerline of the washers at least 14 inches
wide(0.3m) and 18 inches deep(0.4m). Hot water shall be supplied to washer/extractor at 165''F(74C).
