3. What did the speaker worry about after she bought the chair? She and her husband had decided that if they wanted to buy anything that cost over one hundred dollars, they should consult each other. In the end, she bought the chair without mentioning it to him, so she was worried in case he wouldn’t approve of her purchasing the chair, and to make matters worse, the chair couldn’t be returned.

Role 2: You are a shop assistant and good at selling things. A customer comes to your shop to buy certain things. You make an offer at a reasonable price, which is open to bargaining. Finally, you sell the goods at a profitable price.
Role1: You are a smart customer who wants to buy certain things in a shop. You bargain with the shop assistant for the price, and finally get the goods at a low price.
Credit cards allow the card holder to buy things on credit while the debit card doesn’t. To use a debit card you must have sufficient funds in your account.
