Unit7 It’s raining.
Lesson 4 (Section B 2a—2c )
学习目标:
1.能够运用略读和精读的阅读策略提取阅读中的相关信息。
2.能够通过小组合作理解文章中的重点短语和句型结构。
3.能够使用描述天气的词汇和现在进行时描述现在进行的场景。
学情分析:
七年级的学生对英语有了一定的基础,他们对天气感兴趣, 愿意与同学谈论天气情况并想了解亲人和朋友在干什么。
但他们在阅读方法和策略方面需要引导和提高。
所以在这节课,我会并注重学生阅读策略的提高并注重学生合作学习和口语的表达。
由于学生上一单元已经学习了现在进行时的用法,所以在这节课,现在进行时主要通过小组活动来复习巩固。
教学重难点:
由于七年级是小学和中学之间的过度和衔接年级,学生对阅读的方法和策略的运用还不是非常熟悉,因此,引导学生运用略读和精读的阅读策略提取阅读中的相关信息是本节课的一个重难点。
学习过程:
Step I. Warm up and lead in.
Look at the two pictures and talk about the weather in each picture .
(The picture on the left is my son. The one on the right is me . I have changed a lot in the last few years .)
Step II. Free talk 2a
Talk about the pictures below with your partner. How is the weather? What are the people doing ?
Step III. Skimming (略读)
1.Skim(略读)and match each postcard below with the correct picture in 2a.
2. Skim(略读)again and answer some questions about the two postcards.
The first postcard:
1).Where is Su Lin now?
2). Is she visiting some of her old friends there?
3). How’s the weather there?
The second postcard:
1). Where is Dave now?
2). Are Dave’s family and Dave having a good time?
3). How’s the weather in Europe?
Step IV. Careful reading
1.Can you fill in the chart with information(信息) in 2b?
Step V. Listen, read and work in groups .
1.Listen to 2b and repeat .
2. Read fluently.
