Step 1 Warming up

【设计意图:欣赏加拿大的孩子课活动,不仅让学生有一种身临其境的感觉,而且也为今天的话题做准备,活跃课堂气氛,调动学生的积极性。


Step 2 Presentation
1. Free talk

“What do you do after school?”
2.Enjoy a chant:
【设计意图:在自由交谈后,让学生唱一段儿歌来放松自己。

这首歌是关于学生课外活动的,节奏感强,贴合生活,学生会非常喜欢的。


3.Jack's worry
T:Jack's mum asks Jack to do homework and clean the house. But Jack has many things to do,and he wants to play first. So he is very worried and d oesn’t know what to do.Let’s help Jack. 【设计意图:本节课以Jim为主线贯穿所有的教学活动。

从他遇到困惑,到帮助
他解决问题,最后他能给自己制定计划。

一环扣一环,环环相扣。


Step 3 Consolidation

【设计意图:通过对话形式复习句型复习了学科类单词和星期类单词,并为下面的教学做准备。


2.Design the after-school activities :

On Tuesday,sing a song...
On Wednesday,do homework...
On Thursday,play table tennis...
On Friday,play football...
【设计意图:通过计划一周的课余学习和活动,让学生明白要先学习再娱乐,同时通过这个活动帮助学生回顾本单元的学习内容。

在设计周三活动的时候,我把语音部分放进去,设计了读一读、辩一辩、通过“小蝌蚪找妈妈”的游戏,将小蝌蚪送回家,这个活动非常有乐趣,提高了学生的积极性。

教学环节由浅入深,使学生能够体会学习英语的成就感。


3.Checkout time
T:Now,Jack is happy after school. Because he has a Weekly Activities Plan. What does Jim want to do? Look! This is his Weekly Activities Plan. There are some short form words. Can you spell their full forms? The first word is…
T: Let’s listen and tick.
Who can describe the sentences?
And try to make a report.
Try to change the sentence from the first person to the third person.
【设计意图:把Checkout time 设计成Jack一周的活动计划,让学生先复习单词
及缩略形式和短语,再听一听,复述所听到的内容,最后根据表格内容做一个报告!并尝试用第一人陈复述人物每天的活动。

这个环节复习了用have、has谈论课程。


Step 4 Summary

2.Jack has colourful after-school activities. Let’s enjoy a picture book. (Ss enjoy the story .)

4.总结:“Arrange time to have a happy life.”
