Step 1: lead in
1.The teacher will start the lesson with greetings and self-introduction and show the useful sentence structure on the PPT.

设计意图:通过自我介绍自然导入,由于基本句式学生在小学基本都接触过,所以把基本句式展示给大家,让学生组内做自我介绍,让学生体会我会用英语介绍自己的成就感,调动课堂气氛,使课堂生活化,情景化,同时提高学生学英语的兴趣。
Step2:preparation
1. Ask the students to make a name card by asking these questions.
(2) Who are they?
2. Ask students to listen again and answer more specific questions. Then check the answer and tell them to pay attention.

设计意图:利用学生比较熟悉的动画卡通人物或影视人物,创设情境,训练目标语言,提高学生学习兴趣。”Where is he from?”“He is from…”是唯一一个询问和介绍人物时比较新的句式,此环节意在加强此句式的训练,同时为下一活动的展开做铺垫。

This is the first lesson of this module.The main topic is self-introduction concerning age、name、job,ect. So it’s very important to improving listening and ask and give out personal information.
2.Show students three lovely pictures and ask students to tell me where he/she is from and check the answers.

2. I will tell them that a life without a friend is a life without a sun. So I will give out a form and ask them to have a competition in five minutes. Let’s see who has the most friends. At last tell them a friend without faults will never be foundand a friend in need is a friendindeed.
Step 3: Listening
1.Play the recording in activity 3and ask the students to listenand answer the questions. Then check the answers.
(1) How many people speak in the conversation?
2. 2.Make a poster for yourself, and introduce(介绍) yourself in English.

整个教学过程老师要不断的活跃课堂气氛,引导学生主动张口说英语,增加学英语的成就感。
老师最好在句子情境中教授单词,不仅有利于学生的记忆,而且有利于学生掌握其用法。

设计意图:由于课本中给出的听力材料Activity 1&2比较简单,所以本课利用对话材料训练学生听力,播放一遍录音完成前两个小题,前两个小题比较简单,主要训练学生听取关键信息的能力。再播放一遍完成后两个小题,后两个小题的信息更加具体。核对答案后,后两个小题的答案是学生的易错点。
