China is a country with five thousand years of civilization and the Chinese nation is a nation of great hospitality. The country is 5 000-year long history, its splendid culture, vast land, beautiful

Beijing, the capital city of the Peoples Republic of China, is the country s political and cultural cent er. It is also one of the world’s most famous historical and cultural cities where you can learn the 1000-year contemporary history of the country. The 29th Olympics were held in Beijing in 2008. Our slogan is “New Beijing, Great Olympics”. The Chinese people will try their best to make the games the most colorful and successful ones in Olympic history.
