【重点句型】
1. P6 Can I have something to drink?

some 在问句中有希望得到对方肯定答复的含义。

e.g. : I am so hungry. Would you please have some coffee?
Can I borrow some money from you?
2. P8 She is as slim as I am.
as+ adj. + as 表示“和……一样”，是同级的比较。

形容词用原级。

e.g. 1) 我米高。

Mary也是米高。

I am 1.6 meters tall. Mary is 1.6 meters tall,too.
= I am as tall as Mary (is).
2)He is 12 years old. She is 12 years old, too.同义句
=He is as old as she.
3. P8 She is willing to share things with her friends. She is also helpful and ready to help people any time.
be willing to do sth.乐意\自愿做某事
1) 当我们遇到困难时X老师总是乐于帮助我们。

Miss Liu is always willing to help us whenwe meet with trouble.
2) Ma Lu很乐意在周日陪父母去购物。

Ma Lu is willing to go shopping with her parents on Sundays.
3)他愿意每天帮我学英语。

He is willing to help me with my English every day.
share sth. with sb. 与某人分享某物
I share a bedroom with my sister.
She shares an apple with her mother.
be ready to do sth. 准备好做某事
for sth.
e.g.
1) 你准备好明天的测试了吗?
Are you ready for tomorrow’s test?
2) 他们准备好把答案给我了吗?
Are they ready to give me their answer?
any time 随时随地，任何时候
1) If you have a ny problem, call me any time. I’m waiting for you all the time.
如果你有问题,随时给我打。

people in need 需要帮助的人
e.g.患难见真交。

A friend in need is a friend indeed.

when-clause 即时间状语从句．
e.g. 长大后我想成为李宇春那样的歌手，你呢?
I want to be a singer like Li Yuchun when I grow up.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
6. p8然而,他因为夜晚做太多的电脑工作视力不好。

However, he has poor eyesight because of too much puter work at night. however vs. but 类似点：however与but都有“但是”的含义，
表示语意的转折
区别点：用作语意转折时, however通常用在句首,且要加上逗号；but用作引导转折并列从句时,不要在其后加逗号，而是直接跟句子。

如：
她今天病了,但是还是坚持来上学。

She is ill today. However, she still came to school.
She is ill today, but she still came to school.
because of vs. because
类似点：表示因果关系，都有“因为”的意思
区别点：because 用来引导因果关系从句，
而because of后面只能跟n./pron./doing sth.
e.g.
1）Linda因为饿，吃了很多蛋糕。

Linda ate many cakes because she was so hungry.
Linda ate many cakes because of her hunger (n.饥饿).
Linda ate many cakes because of being hungry.
2）小丫因为粗心失败了。

Xiao Ya failed because she was careless.
Xiao Ya failed because of her carelessness.
3）因为生病Tom没来上学。

Tom didn’t go to school because he was ill.
Tom didn’t go to school because of his illness.
too much vs. much too
too much + [u]n. 很多……
much too + adj./adv. 很……; 非常……e.g.
1)地上的水太多，要小心!
There is too much water on the floor. Be careful!
2)因为他看电视太多,所以视力不好。

He has poor eyesight because he watches too much TV.
3)这项工作对我们来说太难了。

The work is much too hard for us.
4)Helen跑得太快,我赶不上她。

Helen runs much too fast. I cannot catch up with her.
7. P8 …they make him look smart. 它们使/让他看起来精明能干。

He tells funny jokes and always makes me laugh.

make+ sb. +adj.

1) 我们应该先想到别人。
