Dear Xiaolei,
I am very glad to hear from you. It ' s great that you have realized the harm of smoking and makeup your mind to give it up. I know how it is hard to give up smoking, so I ca understand your feelings. But be aware, somepeople have to try several times before they finally stop smoking. The point is to keep trying. Here are some tips for you.
1. Cut down on caffeine.
2. Drink more water to flush nicotine from your body.
3. Walk briskly for half an hour a day.
4. Breathe in slowly and deeply through your nose, fully expanding your chest.
5. Use your plumbing.
6. Recovery time: if your body wants 12 hours of sleep to heal, make time for it.
7. Cleanse your body, hands, breath, clothes, hair, car and home of traces of smoke as much as possible.
8. Place an elastic on your wrist.
9. Place cigarettes in a large pop bottle with water.
10. Should you by chance have 1 cigarette, do not feel you have “ blown the program” . There is no need to feel angry or guilty. Just learn from the mistake, to achieve 100% success. Guilt or self-blame only makes people smoke more.。
