Secondly, the performances are often repetitive and uninspired. For example, every year there will be a dance performance featuring traditional Chinese costumes and music, but the choreography and music are almost always the same. It would be nice to see some new and innovative
performances that showcase China's rich culture and history.
Lastly, the hosts and presenters often rely on cheesy jokes and over-the-top acting to entertain the audience. While some may find it amusing, I personally find it
cringe-worthy and unprofessional.
Overall, I believe that the Spring Festival Gala needs
to be re-evaluated and revamped in order to appeal to a modern audience while still maintaining its cultural significance.
