As I mentioned in my first English presentation, there are dozens of reasons why Michael Jackson is considered the KING OF POP. However, I would still like to show you these evidences again, just in case you don’t remember them. Michael Jackson is recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time by Guinness World Records. Jackson has been credited with supporting more charities than any other artist - 39 charitable organizations - either with monetary donations through sponsorships of their projects or participation in their activities. On November 14, 1991, the debut of Michael Jackson’s music video Black or White was broadcast simultaneously in 27 countries, to the largest audience to view a music video: an estimated 500 million people Jackson has 13 # 1 singles in United States. He got his first one when he was 11. Jackson has been given 372 recognized awards, which has been promoted as being the most for an artist. These include the most Grammy Awards and American Music Awards ever won in a single year. Jackson has won the most World Music Awards by a male artist, 15. He has also won the most Billboard awards by a male artist, 26. In 2006, the Guinness World Records identified Jackson as the first performer to have sold 100 million albums outside the U.S. Jackson's "Bad World Tour" (1987–1989) was the highest-grossing tour ever at the time, with (1987– highestover $125 million earned. This record was later broken by his "Dangerous World Tour" (1992– (1992– 1993) and later broken again by his "HIStory World Tour" (1996–1997), which is still the biggest (1996– tour ever in terms of attendance (4.5 million tickets). 700,000 tickets were sold in about four hours for the cancelled "This Is It" concert series in 2009. Jackson was once one of the wealthiest entertainers in the world, with an estimated fortune of more than $750 million.
As we all know, a person’s appearance would definitely change as he or she grows older. In the first picture, Michael was 8. In the second picture, he was 40. His appearance did not change a lot. As for the change in his skin color, you should know that it was not caused by any plastic surgeries. I have never heard of such a technique that can “dye” a person’s skin white. He inherited a disease called vitiligo from his grandparents. This disease turned his skin white. Michael didn’t have as many plastic surgeries as what the tabloids alleged. As a matter of fact, as much as half of the stars in the entertainment circle have had some plastic surgery. However, they kept spreading this annoying rumor about his skin in order to attract people’s attention and

The sadness of Michael’s youth actually induced him to do many great things. As he grew up, he began to show love and care for the entire mankind, especially to children. He donated billions of dollars, named and unnamed to the charity and helped children around the world live a better life. He was much more than just a singer: he was a great philanthropist. Unfortunately, most people are much less concerned with these great aspects of his life than those endless scandals that are never proved to be true.
