材内容分析本单元以卡通人物为话题，介绍了几个著名的卡通形象，包括Nemo，Snoopy，Shrek, Tintin and the Monkey King.这些形象为学生所熟悉和喜爱，能够激发学生的学习兴趣和参与意识。

同时通过卡通故事的学习，掌握省略关系词的定语从句在具体语境中的运用。

学情分析学生们是在前二个模块的基础上学习省略关系词的定语从句，应该不会觉得很难，因为本单元的话题是学生们所熟知和喜爱的，所以可以激发学生们的学习热情，学习的积极性会很高。

教学目标1.知识目标
a) 学生能掌握并运用主要词汇及表达lead, rule, heaven, experience, private, win the heart
of, make a mess, havoc in heaven等，以及who, which, that引导的定语从句。

b) 学生能读懂介绍卡通人物的文章。

c）学生能运用定语从句写出自己最喜欢的卡通人物。

2.技能目标
a) 能学习用扫读和跳读的基本技能寻找文章的主旨和细节信息。

b) 能从外貌性格及故事的主要内容，写出自己最喜欢的卡通人物。

3.情感目标
在学习交流卡通故事和卡通英雄的过程中了解不同国家的文化。

Step1 Warming-up

1.Enjoy a video and answer the questions:
1)How many cartoon characters are mentioned ?
2)Who are they ?（利用超链接功能达到图文并茂的效果，从而让学生更好地理解卡通人物的特点）
2. In pairs, discuss the questions:
1) What country do they come from ?（利用多媒体展现国家国旗让学生更加形象地记住了卡通人物所来自的国家）
