教学设计
Teaching aims:
一、语言知识目标
1.词汇:能听说读写station,taxi
能听说读Excuse me.get to,far away,or
2.功能句型:Excuse me.How can I get to the…?
You can take a … .(or….)
Which bus can I take?
Bus … .
二、能力目标:
1.能用所学语言有礼貌地问路和给出乘坐交通工具建议。

能礼貌询问和回答坐几路公交车。

2.能根据目的地选择恰当的出行交通工具。

了解生活中问路的各种渠道。

三、情感目标:
1.学会得体礼貌的问路语气。

2.学会遇到出行困难能主动寻求帮助,了解求助的渠道。

Teaching focus and difficult points:
一、教学重点:能听说读写单词station,taxi。

运用句型Excuse me.How can I get to the… ?You can take a….Which bus can I take… ?Bus….等进行问路的交流。

二、教学难点:Excuse me.的发音,运用场合和礼貌语气。

station的日常用法。

Bus 60 首字母大写。

Teaching aids: Some cards, some pictures, a cap of driver. Teaching steps:
Step1 Warmer
1.Greeting.
2.Introduce my friend Amy.Look at her holiday and say the chant:My happy days. Revise the transportations.
“On Monday,on Monday,I go to the park by bus. ….”
3.Lead to today’s topic “Asking the Way”.
Give the task:Let’s learn who you can get help from,how to ask the way and give advice and where to get help.
【设计意图:设计我的外地朋友Amy,为课中的问路语言练习和运用创设情境,此处用Amy的开心假期歌谣复习旧知“交通工具”,为课中的语言运用铺设基石。


Step 2. Presentation
1. Show a woman in trouble.Lead to teach: Excuse me.
(1)Practise to say politely with smiling face.
(2)Show pictures and practise different ways of using the phrase.
Excuse me. What's the time?/May I come in?/May I use your pen?
/Where is the School?/How can I get to the zoo?
(3)For the last picture, lead to teach: How can I get to…? Show the map of Fuzhu ,help Amy and practise “How can I get to…?”
【设计意图:引导学生带着笑容和用礼貌的语气得体地在生活中的各种场景中练习和运用Excuse me.,在真实的生活情境中运用语言,并利用最后一个场景引入如何问路的句型教学。


2. Watch the video of the text for the first time.
(1)Ask “Who can she ask for help?”
Lead the Ss to tell:She can ask... for help. (friend,father and mother, uncle and aunt,grandpa and grandma, the policeman, the worker...) Tell the Ss that they need to be active to ask for help when in trouble.
【设计意图:看课文的动画,让学生初步感知课文,了解可以向哪些人求助,引导学生出行遇到困难要学会主动寻求帮助,同时结合求助操练新知,体现英语语言的人文教学。

】(2)Ask “Where does she want to go?”. Teach “station” . Introduce the train stations in different cities,using“Look! This is ** station.It’s big/beautiful/nice/new.”Listen to the train broadcast and watch the train tickets to practise “From … station to … station.”
3. Watch the video for the second time.
(1)What’s Yang Ming’s answer? Practise “You can take a bus.”“You can take… or … ?”
Show the map. Ss learn to give advice on how to get to the destination.Teach “It’s far away.”
(2)Ss act as Amy. Ask the policeman, call 12580 to practise the dialogue.
【设计意图:设计学生看不同城市的动车站并且介绍,现场感受动车站到站的英文报站广播录音,给学生极大的现场体验,感受坐动车的愉快心情,并且在介绍不同车站和说动车票的起点站和终点站的语用体验中练习语言,情境真实,生活气息浓郁。

看地图的地点选择恰当的出行方式,让学生在实际任务中练习和运用语言。

学生表演好朋友Amy进行向警察问路和打12580的电话练习问路,体现任务型语言教学和生活情境的融合。


4.Watch the vedio and imitate.
Teach:taxi. Do the actions and learn how to call a taxi. Introduce take a taxi by phone or by Didi Taxi.Ss act as the taxi driver and the customers.
Ss: Here comes the taxi!Taxi, taxi!
Driver: Hello! Get in the taxi!
S: To the…, please.
Driver: OK.Let’s go!
【设计意图:在跟读课文时教学taxi一词,学生模仿如何用语言和手势来叫出租车,介绍多元的打的方式,如:可以电话叫出租车,也可以用滴滴打车软件。

设计学生扮演的士司机和乘客的语境练习打车的语言,既有趣,又很好地练习和运用了语言。


5.Practise the dialogue in pairs.
Watch the pictures, fill in the blanks and retell the dialogue. 【设计意图:学生两两练习,内化课文的对话内容。

看图引导学生填空,并复述对话内容,给学生提供课文对话语言产出的支架。


Step 3 Activities
1.Pairwork: Ss ask and answer by WeChat or QQ.
2. Learn to ask the way on Baidu. Practise writing.
【设计意图:在语言的运用阶段,设计学生用微信语音或者QQ语音问路的环节,体现现代社交工具带给我们生活的便捷。

给问路的英语语言运用提供了更广阔的平台。

设计看百度地图,选择恰当的出行方式,进行书写的练习。

在生活中多元问路的情境下展开听说读写的语言训练和运用。


Step 4 Extension
1.Show the map of Fuzhou. Look at the bus lines and tell Amy the way and which bus she can take. Guide Amy to travel in
Fuzhou.
Pairwork.Choose the place you want to go and practice the dialogue.
2. Travel with Amy and make a plan of their own.
(1)Share Amy’s Email. Ss read the passage.
(2)Group work. Finish their plan.
(3)Show time.
【设计意图:在语言的拓展运用阶段,设计学生看福州市的地图,学会根据地图上的或给出的公交路线,给好朋友Amy 在福州出行的乘车建议。

灵活运用You can take a bus. You can take Bus …. You can take a taxi. You can go on foot or by bike.】Step 5 Summary
Ss look at the blackboard and tell what they learn today. “Today, we talk abou…. We know we should get help actively.We know how to ask the way. We say,…. We can give advice about the transportation.We say,….We can make our plan of going travelling.
【设计意图:运用板书的语言设计支架,帮助学生回顾今天所学所用的语言,体现板书设计对于课堂教学整体设计和为重点语言练习提供输出支架的功能。


Homework:
1. Listen and imitate the text for 5 times.
2. Write the new words and sentences from memory. Finish the Activity book of this text.
3. Make a dialogue with a friend about asking the way.
Act the dialogue of the text.
Act Amy and her friend’s dialogue.
Introduce your plan about transportation in travelling.
【设计意图:作业布置体现了学生对本课重点内容掌握的要求,如默写重点词句,模仿跟读内容并表演对话。

用分层式的作业布置,不同能力学生可以自主选择完成的内容,关注学生的个体差异。
