摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent abnormal outflow of the gas by furnishing a gas outlet, whose bottom serves as contact face with the valve seat, right over a valve chamber accommodating the valve element of an excessive flow preventive valve in such a way as movable vertically, by providing a gas inlet around said valve chamber, and by shutting the gas outlet by the elevating valve element in the event of excessive flow at the gas outlet. CONSTITUTION:Into a valve chamber 3 in the valve chest 2, a valve element in the form of a circular plate is incorporated with capability of vertical motion of intended strokes, and in the upper part of the valve chest 2 is installed a cylindrical gas outlet 5 in communication with this valve chamber in such an arrangement as open to the upper part of the valve chamber 3, where a valve seat 6 with which the elevated valve element 4 comes in contact is formed at the outlet's lowermost surface facing into the valve chamber 3. Around the valve chamber 3 in the above-mentioned valve chest 2, a gas inlet 7 is provided in the side wall, and even in the bottom wall a gas outlet 8 of a minor diameter is provided at the central part. In the event of an abnormal outflow of the gas, the pressure applied to the upper part of the valve element 4 will drop to cause a rise of the same by the agent of gas pressure from the gas inlet 8, and thus the element 4 comes in contact with the valve seat 6 to shut communication of the valve chamber 3
from the gas outlet 5. Thus outlet of the gas is stopped.
