In your life, there are a lot of people around you. They are your relatives, neighbors, friends or classmates. Sometimes you get along well with them, but sometimes don't. What can you do when someone hurts you? Most people may be angry or even fight with him. But it's not a good idea. You'd better forget all this and forgive(宽恕,原谅) him.

To my surprise, although the test was very easy, over half of them failed it, yet they all wanted to learn new things. I knew they needed me.
I am busy preparing lessons, and reading test papers every night. I enjoyed teaching these lovely and hardworking children, and I could see that they were making progress with my help. I have also learned a lot from them. I understand their lives better and we are now good friends.

The other day, my 10-year-old daughter Anna asked me, "Mom, I made a new friend at school today. Can she come over tomorrow?" Anna was a shy girl and I really wanted her to make some friends.
I said yes, thinking back to my own best friend, Laura. We lived in the same street in a small town. Like my daughter, I was shy, but Laura drew me out. She was one of the friendliest people in school, with shiny blonde hair and a big smile.
In senior high school, Laura went on a trip to Florida. This was the first time we had to be away from each other for a few days. "I'll be back soon," she told me. But three days later, Laura's sister told me that she had fallen into a river and had not been saved. Soon, my family moved to New Jersey. Whenever I thought of her, tears (眼泪) came into my eyes.
Yesterday, Donna brought her new friend home. "Hi, Mrs. Loggia." the little girl said. Her hair was so shiny and blonde. She gave me a big smile, saying "Nice to meet you. My name is Lillian." I could hardly believe my eyes. My daughter's new friend was so much like Laura. I was still puzzled (迷惑) when Lillian's mom came to pick her up later in the afternoon.
