一、Warm-up
1.What’s missing
学生能快速说出出现的单词。

2. Free talk
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, teacher.
T: What does your father do?
S:He is a doctor.
T: How does he go to work?
S: He goes to work by bus.
T: Where does he work?
S: He works in a hospital.
教师让学生两两一组进行对话练习。

A: What does he do?
B: He is a coach.
A:How does he go to work?
B: He goes to work by bike.
A: Where does he work?
B: He works in a gym.
…
二、呈现新课(Presentation)
Story time
教师用多媒体课件出示本部分的教学挂图，并简单介绍情景。

(1).第一次领学生读对话，全班学生跟读，了解对话的大致内容。

(2).第二次领读，学生跟读。

(3).学生分小组分角色朗读，并上台表演。

在读课文过程中，教师对部分词语与短语进行了讲解：
1). What a great job!多么棒的工作啊！
2). unusual jobs不寻常的工作
3). think of认为
4).a lion tamer驯狮人
5). Too dangerous!太危险了！
6).a bee farmer养蜂人
7). get stung被蛰
8). computer game tester电脑游戏测试员
9). play games玩游戏
10). a magician’s assistant魔术师的助手
11). nut cracker胡桃钳
12). You’re nuts! 你是疯了！
三、学生同桌合作，利用情景图中提供的信息替换示例对话中的关键词，编写对话，如：
1). S1: What do you want to be?
S2: I want to be a singer.
2).S1: How does he go to school?
S2: He goes to school by bus.
…
然后教师请几对学生上讲台表演对话，表扬表演到位的学生。
