John and Kelly will spend Christmas with her family, then leave on a week's vacation to Hawaii. They are getting some travel information from the Internet. What do they need to know about Hawaii?
Kelly: The Internet is something else, isn't it? Everything is there.
John: It sure is big. The trouble can be finding exactly what you are looking for. In any case, I think we've found what we need.
Kelly: Can we find out everything here?
John: Let's ask "What are some of the places of interest to visit?" (He keys it in, and gets a list of popular tourist sites.) So far so good.
Kelly: Get a list of hotels.
John: OK. (He puts in the inquiry, and gets another list). Now lets pick one and see "Does the hotel have a tour service?" (He gets a positive answer)
Kelly: Great. Now lets see... "Do we have to pre-book tours, or can we get them on- site?" (She keys it in, and the reply is that they can pre-book)
John: We can plan our whole trip from here, but I like the element of surprise sometime.
Kelly: Y eah, me too, so we won't pre-book everything. But let's pretend we are from overseas and don't know too much about Hawaii.
John: OK. We'll ask common questions like "What's the weather like this time of year?", "What currency do they use?", and "Do I need a visa to go there?"。
