题一：
Helping Each Other Makes the World Wonderful
Hello, everyone. I’m Li Hua. It’s nice to speak about help here.
As the saying goes, “Giving is much better than receiving.”Everyone needs help from others so it’s our duty to give a hand to the people in need.
Last year, Jim, an exchange student from America, came to our class for one-month learning program. He happened to sit next to me. I found he had great trouble getting along well with the study and people here due to the difference in culture and the unfamiliarity with this new environment. Seeing his frustration in class, I showed him the way to work out the problems and translated teachers’instructions for him.
After class, I spent as much time as possible talking with him, taking him around our school and teaching him some daily Chinese. Gradually, he felt relaxed and got used to our school life. He told me he loved China and valued our friendship very much.
My helping hand takes his loneliness away and brings him warmth. In turn helping others brings me friendship and happiness. It is help and kindness that make the world a wonderful place.
