NI 9472/9474 Terminal and Pin AssignmentsNI 9472/© National Instruments Corp.9NI 9472/9474The NI 9472/9474 with screw terminal has a 10-terminal,detachable screw-terminal connector. The NI 9472 with DSUB has a 25-pin DSUB connector. Each channel of the NI 9472/9474 has a terminal or pin, DO, to which yo u can connect a device. The eight digital o u tp u t channels are internally referenced to thecommon terminal or pin, COM. National Instr u ments recommends yo u provide independent COM and V s u p wiring for each channel of the NI 9472 with DSUB to minimize c u rrent flow in the COM and V s u p wiring. The COM pins on the NI 9472 with DSUB are internally connected..Note Yo u m u st u se 2-wire ferr u les to create a sec u re connection when connecting more than one wire to a single terminal on the NI 9472/9474 with screw terminal.Each channel has an LED that indicates the state of the channel. When a channel LED is lit, the channel is on. When the LED is dark, the channel is off. The LEDs are disabled when the chassis is in sleep mode. Refer to the Sleep Mode section for more information abo ut sleep mode.NI 9472/ Yo u m u st connect an external power s u pply to the NI 9472/9474. This power s u pply provides the c u rrent for the devices yo u connect to the mod u le. Connect the positive lead of the power s u pply to V s u p and the negative lead of the power s u pply to COM. The V s u p pins on the NI 9472 with DSUB are internally connected. Yo u can connect only one external voltage s u pply to the device. Refer to the Specifications section for information abo u t the power s u pply voltage range.CautionDo not remove or insert mod u les if the externalpower s u pply connected to the V s u p and COM pins is powered on.The NI 9472/9474 has c u rrent so u rcing o u tp u ts, meaning the DO terminal or pin is driven to V s u p when the channel is t urned on.Yo u can directly connect the NI 9472/9474 to a variety of ind u strial devices s u ch as solenoids, motors, act u ators, relays, and lamps. Make s u re the devices yo u connect to the NI 9472/9474are compatible with the o u tp u t specifications of the mod u le. Refer to the Specifications section for more information abo u t the o u tp u t specifications.Connect the device to DO and connect the common of the device to COM. Refer to Fig u re3 for an ill u stration of how to connect a device to the NI 9472/9474.Figure 3. Connecting a Device to the NI 9472/9474Increasing Current DriveEach channel of the NI 9472 has a contin u o u s o u tp u t c u rrent of0.75A, and each channel of the NI9474 has a contin u o u s o u tp u tc u rrent of 1A. If yo u want to increase the o u tp u t c u rrent to a device, yo u can connect any n u mber of channels together in parallel. For example, u sing the NI9474, if yo u want to drive 4 A of c u rrent, connect DO<0...3> in parallel as shown in Fig u re4. Yo u m u st t u rn all parallel channels on and off sim u ltaneo u sly so that the c u rrent on any single channel cannot exceed the 1A rating.Figure 4. Increasing the Current to a Device Connected to the NI 9474Wiring for High-Vibration ApplicationsIf an application u sing the NI 9472/9474 with screw terminal is s u bject to high vibration, National Instr u ments recommends that yo u either u se ferr u les to terminate wires to the detachable screw-terminal connector or u se the NI9932 backshell kit to protect the connections. Refer to Fig u re5 for an ill u stration ofu sing ferr u les. Understanding Short-Circuit-Proof DevicesEach channel on the NI 9472/9474 has circ u itry that protects it from c u rrent s u rges res u lting from short circ u its. Whether the mod u le s u ffers damage from these overc u rrent conditions depends on the following factors:•The amo u nt of c u rrent thro u gh the channel•The amo u nt of time the c u rrent is above the c u rrent limit •The freq u ency of the c u rrent s u rgesWhen the amo u nt of c u rrent thro u gh the DO terminal or pin is greater than 13 A, the channel trips and goes into an overc u rrent state. In an overc u rrent state, the channel t u rns off and the mod u le is not damaged. Dezember 2003SchwenkportalsystemLiefer- und PrüfvorschriftenDeckelbühneSN 947Teil 21AnwendungsbereichDas Schwenkportal wird in Lichtbogenöfen im Hüttenwerksbereich mit starkem Staub- und Schlackenanfall, Verschleiß und erhöhten Temperaturen eingesetzt. Das Kippbühnensystem besteht im Wesentlichen aus den folgenden Hauptbaugruppen: •Schwenkportal/Aufbauten einschl. Wärmeschutz•Deckeltragarmen•Deckelbühne mit AufgangMit dem, auf einem Schwenklager verbundenen und auf dem Kippbühnenrahmen befestigten Schwenkportal, lässt sich der Deckel und der gesamte Tragarmaufbau (z.B. zum Ofenbeschicken) ausschwenken. Für Wartungsarbeiten ist das Schwenk-portalsystem mit einer Deckelbühne versehen.Die SN 947, Teil 2 beinhaltet Mindestanforderungen für Deckelbühnen soweit in den Zeichnungen, Stücklisten oder anderen Bestellunterlagen nicht anderslautende Angaben gemacht werden.2Material2.1 AllgemeinGrundsätzlich sind hier schweißgeeignete Werkstoffe nach gültigen DIN EN-Normen zu verwenden.Nur nach Genehmigung durch SMS Demag sind gleichwertige Materialien anderer Regelwerke (z.B. ASTM, JIS, GB-China) zugelassen. Die Rückverfolgbarkeit aller Materialien muß durch entsprechende Kennzeichnung gewährleistet sein. Die eingesetzten Materialien sind mit einem Abnahmeprüfzeugnis 3.1.B nach DIN EN 10204 zu bescheinigen.2.2 Standardwerkstoffe2.2.1 Bleche, Tränenbleche bzw. Halbzeuge S235JR, S235JRG2,Das Material S235JR/S235JRG2muss den Festlegungen der DIN EN 10025 entsprechen.2.2.2 Zusätzliche Anforderungen−Sind in der Stückliste Bleche mit Z15 gekennzeichnet, müssen diese zusätzlich die Anforderungen für verbesserte Verfor-mungseigenschaften senkrecht zur Erzeugnisoberfläche nach DIN EN 10164, Güteklasse Z15 erfüllen.−Für die Dickenabweichung gilt Klasse A gem. Warmfestigkeitseigenschaften).Die eingesetzten Schweißzusätze sind mit einem Werkszeugnis nach DIN EN 10204-2.2 zu bescheinigen.3.2 Anforderungen an den BetriebDer Herstellbetrieb muss in Anlehnung an DIN EN 729 Teil 3 seine Eignung in Bezug auf Einrichtungen, Verfahren und Per-sonal nachgewiesen haben. Alle Schweißarbeiten in der Werkstatt oder auf der Baustelle sind nur durch qualifiziertes Perso-nal (DIN EN 287 / DIN EN 1418) auszuführen und zu überwachen (DIN EN 719).Eine Verfahrensprüfung nach DIN EN 288 Teil 3 ist vor Fertigungsbeginn SMS Demag, Abt. Qualitätssicherung ASQ zur Ge-nehmigung vorzulegen.3.3 Schweißtechnische AusführungenZusätzlich zu den allgemeinen Fertigungsvorschriften der SN 200 sind nachfolgende Anforderungen einzuhalten:−Rücktrocknung von Schweißzusätzen ist nach den Angaben der SZ-Hersteller durchzuführen. Anschließende Warmhaltung der Schweißzusätze bei 100 – 150 °C.−Die Empfehlungen zum Schweißen metallischer Werkstoffe gemäß DIN EN 1011 Teil 1 und 2 sind zu berücksichtigen.−Hilfsschweißungen für Aussteifungen, Transportösen usw. müssen vollständig entfernt werden. Die Oberflächen der betref-fenden Stellen sind kerbfrei zu beschleifen und müssen mit einem geeigneten Verfahren auf Rissfreiheit geprüft werden.- Alle drucktragenden Schweißnähte sind mindestens 2-lagig auszuführen.4 FertigungEventuell notwendige Materialauszüge für die Blechbeschaffung, sowie für die Herstellung erforderlichen Fertigungsunterla-gen, z.B. Werkstattzeichnungen sind vom Lieferanten auszuarbeiten.Fertigungstoleranzen sind der Fertigungsvorschrift SN 200 und/oder der Zeichnung zu entnehmen.Grundsätzlich gilt, dass Anschlagösen in Absprache mit dem Besteller festgelegt werden. Die Lage der Ösen ist in einer Skiz-ze zu dokumentieren und zur Genehmigung an SMS Demag, Abt. Qualitätssicherung ASQ vorzulegen. Falls Anschlagösen nicht belassen werden können, sind diese restlos zu entfernen. Die betreffenden Stellen sind kerbfrei zu beschleifen und müssen auf Rissfreiheit mittels Oberflächenrissprüfung geprüft werden.Falls erforderlich, werden die Deckeltragarme, das Schwenkportal/Aufbauten und die Deckelbühne anschließend wieder de-montiert und je nach Transportmöglichkeit separat bzw. in größtmögliche Teile, mit entsprechenden Schweißnahtvorbereitun-gen an den Montageschweißstößen und Markierungen für die Endmontage versandt.Die Endmontage und das Zusammenschweißen erfolgt dann auf der Baustelle. Dazu eventuell notwendige, geeignete Trans-portaussteifungen sind vom Hersteller vorzusehen. Diese verbleiben bis zur Anlieferung auf der Baustelle am Bauteil.Werden einzelne Bereiche der Deckelbühne wassergekühlt, sind alle Kühlwasser Ein- und Ausgänge dauerhaft mittels Schweißraupen zu kennzeichnen (I → Eingang; O → Ausgang). Alle Kühlwasserkanäle müssen frei von Schmutz, Spänen, Schweißschlacke usw. sein.Seite 3SN 947 Teil 2 : 2003-12 5 Prüfung5.1 AllgemeinesBei allen Bauteilen ist eine visuelle Prüfung der Schweißnähte gemäß DIN EN 970 durchzuführen und zu dokumentieren. Oberflächenfehler wie Einbrandkerben, Zündstellen, Spritzer, scharfkantige Stellen usw. sind nicht zulässig und müssen ent-fernt werden.Der Umfang der zerstörungsfreien Prüfungen ist auf der Zeichnung bzw. in der SN 200 Teil 4 angegeben. Die für die Durch-führung und Bewertung anzuwendenden Normen sind in der SN 200 Teil 4 aufgeführt. Für die Ultraschallprüfung nach DIN EN 1714 gelten die Anforderungen der Prüfklasse A, Tabelle 5 für alle Wanddicken.Zur Vermeidung von Kurzschlüssen sind bei allen wassergekühlten Bauteilen sämtliche Kühlwasserkreisläufe mittels Druck-luft auf freien Durchgang zu prüfen.Die verschliffenen Stellen von entfernten Anschlagösen sind mittels Oberflächenrissprüfung auf Rissfreiheit zu prüfen.5.2 DruckprüfungIm Falle das einzelne Bereiche der Deckeltragarme wassergekühlt werden, sind die Kühlkanäle einer Druckprobe zu unter-ziehen:Prüfmedium: Wasser 1Prüfdruck: 10 barHaltezeit: 1 StundeKontrolle: durch ManometerNach der Prüfung muss das Wasser vollständig entfernt werden und Ein- und Auslaß sind mit Kappen bzw. Blindflansch zu verschließen6 WärmenachbehandlungEine Spannungsarmglühung ist funktionsbedingt nicht erforderlich. Eine Wärmenachbehandlung aus fertigungstechnischer Sicht ist vom Fertiger zu veranlassen.7 Anstrich und KonservierungDie Beschichtung erfolgt nach SN 200 Teil 7, soweit keine andere Angabe in der Zeichnung bzw. Stückliste angegeben sind.Die Deckelbühne wird gesandstrahlt und erhält eine hitzebeständige Grundbeschichtung nach SN 200 Teil 7 – 3.1.2. sowie eine hitzebeständige Deckbeschichtung nach SN 200 Teil 7 – 3.3.2.Die Schweißnahtvorbereitungen für die Montageschweißungen erhalten keinen Anstrich und keine Konservierung.
