I. Introduction
The Regulations and Policies Board (RPB) is established to ensure the smooth operation of the organization, maintain discipline, and promote the welfare of all members. The RPB is responsible for formulating, reviewing, and enforcing regulations and policies that govern the organization's activities. This board consists of elected members who are committed to upholding the organization's values and ensuring the best interests of its members.
II. Membership and Eligibility
A. Membership
1. The RPB consists of a chairperson, vice chairperson, and a number of board members.
2. The chairperson and vice chairperson shall be elected by the general membership for a term of two years.
3. Board members shall be elected by the general membership for a term of one year.
4. A quorum for board meetings shall be a majority of the board members.
B. Eligibility
1. Members must be in good standing and actively participating in the organization.
2. Members must have a strong commitment to the organization's mission and values.
3. Members must be able to attend board meetings and actively participate in the decision-making process.
III. Meetings
A. Regular Meetings
1. The RPB shall hold at least four regular meetings per year.

B. Special Meetings
1. Special meetings may be called by the chairperson, vice chairperson, or a majority of the board members.

3. Special meetings may be held for the purpose of addressing urgent matters that require immediate attention.
IV. Responsibilities of the Board
A. Formulating Regulations and Policies
1. The RPB shall review existing regulations and policies and make recommendations for changes or updates.
2. The RPB shall research and develop new regulations and policies as needed.
3. All proposed regulations and policies shall be submitted to the general membership for approval.
B. Enforcing Regulations and Policies
1. The RPB shall ensure that all members are aware of the organization's regulations and policies.
2. The RPB shall investigate and address violations of regulations and policies.
3. The RPB shall take appropriate disciplinary actions, including warnings, fines, or expulsion, as necessary.
C. Promoting Member Welfare
1. The RPB shall work to improve the overall welfare of the organization's members.
2. The RPB shall provide support and resources to help members achieve their goals.
3. The RPB shall address any concerns or issues raised by members.
V. Conflict of Interest
A. Board members shall disclose any potential conflicts of interest to the other members of the board.
B. If a board member has a conflict of interest, they shall recuse themselves from any discussion or decision-making regarding the matter.
C. The RPB shall establish a procedure for handling conflicts of interest and ensure that they are resolved fairly and transparently.
VI. Amendments
A. This document may be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the general membership.
B. Proposed amendments shall be submitted to the RPB for review and approval before being submitted to the general membership.
