Hello everyone! The topic of my speech today is my hometown-Xiangxi.
My hometown is a small town in Xiangxi, Hunan Province, which is surrounded by mountains, with rice fields where crops can be planted and lakes where fish can be raised.
In spring, the azaleas and wild peach blossoms all over the mountains, as well as the rape blossoms in Huang Chengcheng, are in full bloom. The flowers smell fragrant, attracting industrious bees and beautiful butterflies. They are singing and dancing, and the scenery is really as beautiful as a painting. If you walk in it at this time, you will surely find the scenery pleasing to both the eye and the mind, and linger!
In summer, the endless lotus blooms. There are pink and white ones. The most interesting thing is the small lotus bush hidden in the lotus. It is green and lovely. A breeze blows and lotus leaves dance. How beautiful!
Autumn is the farmer's uncle's favorite season. He smiles from ear to ear when he looks at the fields full of golden rice and the big and fat fish jumping in the lake. Ah! Harvest again!
