Thirteenyearold Cindy had been bullied(欺凌) at school for about two years. Her bag, keys and mobile phone had been stolen. She had also been knocked off her bicycle, kicked and punched(以拳重击). Four years ago when I was a boy of 11, I got into the biggest trouble as a kid. It was a Saturday morning. Both my parents were out, leaving me and my 10—month—old sister became alone. Anyway, my sister was still asleep in her room. In fact I had the house to myself. I decided to do some drawing. Soon I gave up. Nobody knows how many different languages there are in the world. The most widely used language is English. It’s used by business people, airline pilots all over the world. It’s also the first language of sports and science. So it’s very important for us to learn English.

In recent years, the development of ebooks is very fast. So which books are more popular? Here is a report on the matter. The report collects the opinions of more than 3,000 people.
According to the report, more than half of them choose to read printed books. About 26.8% of them prefer reading on their mobile phones. The rest are more likely to read on puters and ebook readers.
In the survey, many young readers tend (倾向) to read ebooks. They think that ebooks are very convenient and can satisfy their desire ( 愿望) to read whenever they want. At the same time, they don’t have to think about how to keep their books anymore. We can hardly see a team 11 straight wins(连胜). However, the Chinese women's volleyball team has done it! On Sept. 29th, 2019, China won the Women's V olleyball World Cup in Japan at the 13th World Cup. The team didn't lose any of its games during the games.
