本模块主要谈论的是参加国外的暑期英语课程,这是一个比较有争议而且受地域限制的话题。
此话题对于某些地区的学生来说可能比较陌生,教师可以通过报刊、杂质、网络等多种学习资源为学生提供背景知识,开阔学生的视野。
本单元的课文是关于洛杉矶暑期英语课程的宣传。

本单元的生词虽然不多,但文章篇幅大,且句子较长,学生理解起来有一点的难度,好在本单元的话题能够引起同学们的学习兴趣。
