课文主人公麦克,是一个普通人。
他对生活的选择是快乐对待,积极进取。
对学生们有一定的启发意义。
二、教学目标:[知识目标] :学习本课前两段的hot words和useful expressions。
情感目标]:1.结合课文对学生进行人生观和世界观的教育。
2. 培养他们的合作意识和竞争意识。
[能力目标:提高学生听说读写以及知识点的综合运用能力。
三、教学重点是了解文章大意并能复述;教学难点是找出各段落的中心句和语法。

所以,第一步扫清词汇障碍。
本课时学15个词。
课前我安排了生词预习,让学生有一个初步的感知,课上我用卡片出示单词,让学生根据拼读规则,看词辨音。
然后,限定5分钟时间记忆单词,比一比看谁背得快。
然后各个小组选派代表到台前背写单词看谁是赢家。
这时我教授重点词语hate to do;be in a good mood;positive等。

句中的be in a good/bad mood作“心情很好(不好)的解, 又如:
