一、教材内容分析
本单元以“我们的日常学习及周末活动安排”为主题,编排相关的短语及句型。内容紧密联系学生的生活实际,学生有话可说。通过本单元的学习,学生能够在语境中准确使用本单元的重点句型:Whendoyou…?Ioften/usually/…at…及短语询问别人和回答自己作息时间;用句型:Whatdoyoudoontheweekend?Ioften…ontheweekend及短语询问答周末活动安排。本节课是本单元的第六课时。教材分为两部分,第一部分要求学生阅读Robin’splay,读后对tick和cross中的三句话做出判断;第二部分为个性化书写活动,要求学生补全给Robinson写的一封信,告诉自己的日常活动。教材旨在通过引导学生阅读Robin’splay和补全给Robinson一封信的活动,协助学生进一步巩固本单元的核心句型和词汇。通过本节课的学习协助学生掌握一定的阅读方法,提升学生的阅读和简单的书写水平。

新课标要求小学英语以情景教学为主,以听说认读为主要目标,提倡通过听听、说说、做做、玩玩、演演、唱唱等方式来学习英语,鼓励学生积极参与,创设轻松、活跃的教学氛围,让学生“动”起来,课堂“活”起来,把教科书上无声的书面语言活化为有声的交际话语,激发他们的学习动机,变“要我学”为“我要学”。
教师要充分地提供一个宽松、愉快的舞台,创造一个相对自由的学习环境,让学生宽松、愉快地探究学习,让课堂因为学生的自主发现、自我展现而呈现出生动精彩的一面。
因此,教师应把精力放在清净的设计上,鼓励学生参与活动,让学生在真实的情境中乐学英语,掌握英语,进而会用英语,并保持浓厚的学习情感和兴趣,促进英语学习能力的提高。
二、案例主题本课题出自 PEP 小学英语五年级下册第一单元。
本单元是五年级上册第二单元关于“课程安排与周末活动”的延续。
本单元重点学习一天中不同时间段内学习和生活起居情况以及周末活动安排的表达,尤其是学会使用频度副词谈论日常生活。
本单元新增加了介词“at”的用法。
三、课时和内容说明本单元分 6 个课时设计,该课时为本单元的第6课时,教学内容为 B Read and write。
该部分为读、写两部分:第一部分以短文篇章的形式呈现本单元所学重点内容,通过理解判断题,检测学生对本单元活动词组,频率副词的掌握情况;第二部分让学生通过给Robinson写回信的方式,检测学生对本单元所学重点句型的熟练运用情况。
四、学生情况说明本案例适合小学六年制五年级的学生。
我所教的学生是以三年级为起点学习英语的五年级学生。
该班共26名学生,其中共有10名学困生,有10名学生的英语口语能力和语言组织能力相对较强,他们已经有了一定的英语思维能力。
