The Teaching Plans for New Standard English Book 11潘小平 2011.07《英语(新标准)》一起点Book11教材分析本册教材——New Standard English(供一年级起始用)第十一册是供小学六年级上学期使用的。

全书共分为11个模块(Module),内含一个期末复习模块。

每个模块分两个单元(Unit)。

一般情况下,第一单元呈现本模块所要学习的语言内容,第二单元提供若干任务型(Task-based)练习,包括一首歌谣或小诗。

情节连续、完整的故事线是本套教材在设计和编写方面的显著特点,其作用有三:其一,在语境中导入单元核心语言知识;其二,培养阅读策略;其三,大容量语言信息输入。

根据故事在语境中导入核心语言结构的功能和“故事”教学的模块贯穿性,教材并不要求学生第一课时就完全掌握故事,对新语言结构把握的度,只需学生在语境中感知、接触、理解即可,其巩固、强化、拓展训练将在后续课时进行,直至学生掌握。

歌谣、小诗的学习目的有三:一是培养学生的语感和节奏感,二是提高发音的正确性,三是介绍一定的西方文化;其中的一些不常用单词,不要求学生在歌谣之外学会使用。

在本册,我们要跟着大明去美国访问,了解一些美国的情况,初步了解在美国生活的中国人的生活。

我校学生情况分析我校六年级的学生已经学习了五年多的英语,每班有四节周课时,其主要特征表现为:在听、说、读、写上有了一定的基础,在课堂上能够积极回答问题、敢于用英语表达自己的想法、有善于倾听其他同学的发言的好习惯;有能够听懂基本的课堂用语和重视英语功能话题积累的学习能力;具备自我学习和合作学习的学习策略;但两极分化较大。

Good morning, all my dear teachers and experts, it’s my great honor to stand here to show my teaching opinions. Today I’ll talk about Lesson 1 in Fun with English published by Liaoning Normal University Press from the students’ book 11 .Firstly, I’ll focus on analysing the content of the teaching materials分析教材内容Status and function1. Lesson 1 is the first part of Unit1, and it is also the first part in the whole book. So if the students learn this lesson well, they will be cheerful and confident in English learning in this term. Lesson1 can lay the foundation for the whole Unit1. That means the students can not understand and learn Lesson 2, Lesson3, and Lesson 4, unless they master Lesson 1.2. Lesson1 consists of a conversation, a story and a group-learning. At the beginning of a new term, the teacher suggests that the students should do something for their school to make their campus more beautiful with the new sentence patterns “what shall we do”and “we should plant more flowers”in this conversation. The conversation focuses on the usage of the sentence pattern and shows four new words in the lesson. The content of the conversation is related to school life, and the student would feel familiar with it, so it is easy to accept the conversation.3. The new sentence pattern of this lesson, “what shall we do?”“We should plant more flowers”can be often used in daily life. So they can arouse the students’interests in the conversation. The modal verbs “shall”and “should”have different affective meanings. To learn the modal verbs is to master the emotions of them. Singing a song can catch the students’ attention to the class, and make them excited and cheerful. So it can make the students focus on learning new knowledge in class. The new sentence pattern “what shall we do” is embodied in the song. In order to know what the song sings, the students must be interested in this lesson.Lead-inI prepare some cards, and there is a sentence on each card. I pick out one of them, it says “we are hot here.” I pretend to be very hot, and say “what shall we do?”(板书) Then I take out a fan from my book.
