人教版四年级英语下册第一单元b部分
人教版四年级英语下册第一单元b部分全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Hey there! It's me again, your friendly neighborhood 4th grader. I'm so excited to tell you all about what I've been learning in my English class lately. We just started Unit 1B in our textbooks, and let me tell you, it's been a wild ride! The unit is called "My Hobby" and it's all about the different hobbies and interests that people have. At first, I was a little worried because I didn't really have any hobbies besides playing video games and watching TV. But then my teacher, Ms. Roberts, told us that hobbies can be all sorts of things – sports, arts and crafts, collecting things, you name it!One of the first things we learned was how to talk about our hobbies in English. We practiced saying things like "My hobby is playing basketball" or "I like to collect stamps." It was a little tricky at first, but after a while, it started to feel really natural. Then, we moved on to learning about different types of hobbies. We learned all about sports like soccer, tennis, and swimming. We even had a special guest come in and teach ussome basic basketball moves! It was so much fun, even though I was pretty terrible at it.Next up was arts and crafts. We learned about things like painting, drawing, and even origami (which is the art of folding paper into cool shapes). We got to try our hand at making our own origami animals, and let me tell you, it's a lot harder than it looks! But it was still really cool to see how a simple piece of paper could become a cute little frog or dog. After that, we learned about collecting hobbies. Some of the things people collect might seem a little weird, like stamps or coins, but we learned that collectors are really passionate about their hobbies. We even had a couple of classmates bring in their collections to show the rest of us. One kid had a huge collection of rocks and minerals, and another had a bunch of cool action figures. But my favorite part of the unit was when we learned about outdoor hobbies like hiking, camping, and bird watching. I've always loved being outside, so learning about these kinds of hobbies was really exciting for me. We even got to go on a little nature walk around the school and try to spot different kinds of birds and plants.Throughout the whole unit, we also learned a ton of new vocabulary words related to hobbies. Words like "interest," "passion," "leisure," and "pastime" were thrown around a lot. At first, it was a little overwhelming trying to remember all of them, but Ms. Roberts had us play some really fun games and activities to help us practice. One of my favorite activities was when we had to draw a picture of our hobby and then describe it to a partner without saying what it was. The partner had to try to guess what hobby we were talking about based on our description. It was hilarious watching some of my classmates try to describe things like "collecting rocks" or "playing video games" without actually saying those words.By the end of the unit, I felt like I had a whole new appreciation for hobbies and how important they are. Not only are they a great way to have fun and relax, but they can also teach you new skills and help you meet new people who share your interests.I even decided to pick up a new hobby of my own – bird watching! After learning about it in class, I realized how cool it would be to be able to identify different types of birds just by looking at them or listening to their calls. My parents got me alittle bird watching kit with binoculars and a field guide, and I've already spotted a few different species in our backyard.Overall, I'd say Unit 1B on hobbies was a huge success. I learned so much about all the different types of hobbies out there, and I even discovered a new hobby for myself. Who knows, maybe I'll be a world-famous bird watcher one day!But for now, I'm just excited to keep learning and exploring new things in my English class. I can't wait to see what other cool topics and activities we'll get to do next. Until then, happy hobbying!篇2My Awesome Summer VacationHi, my name is Lily and I'm in the 4th grade. Last summer was the best summer ever! I had so much fun and did so many cool things. Let me tell you all about it.It all started when school let out in late June. My parents had planned a huge trip for us - we were going to fly to the United States and visit my aunt and uncle in California! I was super excited because I had never been on a plane before. The morning we left, my little brother Timmy and I could barely contain our excitement. We arrived at the airport hours early. Checking in, going through security, finding our gate - it was all a new experience for us kids. Finally it was time to board the huge airplane.Timmy and I got window seats so we could look out as the plane took off. It was incredible watching the buildings and cars get smaller and smaller until finally we were soaring above the clouds. The flight felt like it took forever, but it was fun watching movies, eating snacks, and playing games. After what seemed like ages, we landed in sunny Los Angeles. My aunt and uncle were waiting for us with big smiles when we entered the arrivals area. We gave them huge hugs - we hadn't seen them in over two years! Then we piled into their car and drove to their house in the suburbs.Their house was nice but what really impressed Timmy and I was their huge backyard pool! We couldn't wait to go swimming. That first evening, we just relaxed at their place, ate some delicious American food like hamburgers and fries, and tried to adjust to the time change.Over the next few days, we did tons of fun activities. One day we drove down to the beach in Santa Monica. The ocean was sobig and the waves were awesome! Timmy and I built a huge sandcastle and went boogie boarding. I even saw a dolphin swimming not too far from the shore!Another day we visited Hollywood and walked down the Walk of Fame looking at all the celebrity handprints and footprints. We also went to the Chinese Theater and saw the cement handprints of famous actors and actresses. That was really neat. Of course, no trip to Hollywood is complete without a visit to the iconic Hollywood sign! One of the highlights was going to Disneyland. Aunt Susan and Uncle Mike got us 2-day passes so we had plenty of time to experience both Disneyland and California Adventure park. Disneyland was like entering into a real-life fairytale world. The rides, the shows, the mascots walking around - it was all so magical! I loved going on Space Mountain, the Haunted Mansion, and Splash Mountain (although I got completely soaked on that one!). California Adventure had awesome rides like Radiator Springs Racers (my favorite!) and the incredible Incredicoaster. On our last day in LA, we drove up the coast to Santa Barbara. It's such a beautiful area with the mountains and the ocean. We walked around the downtown area, which was full ofSpanish-style architecture and shops. For lunch we ate at anamazing taco place. I tried a fish taco for the first time - it was delicious! Before we knew it, our amazing California adventure was over. I was really sad to leave, but also excited to get back home to China and see my friends again. The flight home seemed twice as long as the flight there. When we finally landed in Shanghai, I was just exhausted.Timmy and I had the next few weeks of summer at home to just relax and recover from our jet lag. We spent lots of time swimming at the community pool and hanging out with our neighborhood friends. We had sleepovers, had picnics, rode our bikes, and just enjoyed our free time before starting a new grade. As summer drew to a close, I looked back and felt so grateful for the amazing experiences I had. Traveling to California, visiting family, seeing world-famous sights, going to Disneyland - it was the trip of a lifetime! Fourth grade was starting soon, which meant lots of new challenges. But I felt refreshed and ready to tackle a new year after my awesome summer vacation.篇3My Wonderful PetHey guys! I'm so excited to tell you all about my amazing pet! In our English class, we just started a new unit called "Wonderful Pets". The teacher asked us to think about our pets and be ready to share stories about them. Well, let me tell you - I've got the best pet story ever! You see, I have this awesome dog named Buddy. He's a golden retriever and he's seriously the cutest, fluffiest pup you'll ever meet. We got him from an animal shelter when I was 6 years old. I remember going there with my parents and instantly falling in love with this little golden ball of fur. He was the last one left and had been waiting so long for a family. Well, his wait was over because we just had to take him home! From that day on, Buddy became my very best friend in the whole wide world. We did everything together - playing fetch in the park, going on walks, cuddling on the couch for movie nights. He even slept in my room every single night, right by my bed. I never felt alone because Buddy was always there.Speaking of my room, I decorated it with tons of dog pictures, plushies, and anything pup-related I could get my hands on. My mom jokes that I'm a little too obsessed with dogs, but can you blame me? They're just the greatest!Anyway, Buddy has been with us for 6 years now. In that time, he's brought us so much joy, laughter, and unconditional love. Dogs really are a human's best friend. He's always happy to see us when we get home from school or work, greeting us with his wagging tail and big doggy smiles. No matter what kind of day I've had, playing with Buddy instantly lifts my mood. One of my favorite activities is going on hikes with Buddy in the woods near our house. He gets so excited anytime I grab the leash, immediately running in circles like a happy tornado! Out on the trails, he loves sniffing every leaf, chasing squirrels, and splashing in the creek. I feel so free and joyful being out in nature with my furry pal by my side.Sometimes, having a pet can be hard work though. Once, Buddy got sprayed by a skunk while we were out on a nighttime walk! Oh man, the stench was UNBEARABLE. We had to give him about a million baths with tons of weird smelling shampoos to finally get rid of that awful skunk spray odor. I'll never forget that night - my nose may have recovered, but the memory still haunts me!Another time, Buddy accidentally got out of our backyard and went missing for an entire day. I was so worried sick about him, crying nonstop until thankfully a neighbor found himhappily wandering the streets. We learned our lesson and installed a new, super secure doggy fence after that scary incident.Despite the occasional furry catastrophe, I really can't imagine life without Buddy. He brings our family so much love, joy, laughter, and fun. I'm already dreading the day when he gets really old and... well, you know. Losing a pet is one of the hardest things in the world, so I try not to think about that too much. For now, I'm just focused on making every day with Buddy the best day ever!If you don't have a pet yet, I really think you should consider getting one. They'll change your life in the most amazing ways. Sure, you'll have to scoop some poop and deal with a few messes here and there. But all of that is so worth it for the endless amounts of love and happiness a furry friend brings.Well, that's my incredible pet story! I could seriously go on forever about how great dogs are and how much Buddy means to me. But I'll stop here for now. Let me know if you guys have any fun pet tales to share too! I'd love to hear all about your animal buddies. Thanks for reading, and don't forget - adopt your new best friend from an animal shelter today! Until next time, furry friends. Woof woof!篇4My Exciting Summer VacationSummer vacation is the best time of the year! No school, no homework, just lots of fun and adventures. This summer was extra special because my family and I went on an amazing trip to the countryside. Let me tell you all about it!We left the city bright and early one morning. My little brother Billy was still half-asleep and grumpy, but I was so excited I could barely sit still in the car. After what felt like forever, we finally arrived at my aunt and uncle's farm. Their house is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by fields and forests and animals everywhere! The first thing we did was go explore the barn. There were cows, chickens, sheep, and even a few playful baby goats! My aunt let me feed the animals, and I got to hold a tiny chick in my hands. It was so soft and fluffy. The cowshed didn't smell too great, but I didn't mind. I loved watching the calves drinking milk from their mothers.Later that day, we went on a long walk through the woods. Uncle Tim taught us how to identify different trees and plants. We saw squirrels scampering around gathering nuts, and lots of colourful birds flitting between the branches. At one point, we came across a little stream and stopped to go swimming. The water was freezing cold but so refreshing on a hot summer day!In the evenings, we would sit around the campfire roasting marshmallows and listening to the grownups telling stories and jokes. My cousin Emma lives on the farm too, so we had a great time running around playing hide-and-seek and tag until it got too dark to see. The night sky in the country is just amazing - you can see all the stars so clearly without the city lights.Another fun activity was going fishing down at the lake. Uncle Tim gave me a little kiddie rod and showed me how to put the worm on the hook. It took a while, but I finally caught a tiny sunfish! We threw it back, but I was really proud of my first catch. Emma's much better at fishing than me though. She caught a huge bass that we had for dinner one night. We also went strawberry picking in a big field one afternoon. We came home with what seemed like buckets and buckets of fresh, juicy strawberries. Aunt Maggie used a lot of them to bakea delicious strawberry rhubarb pie. Mmm, my mouth waters just thinking about it!On the Fourth of July, we had a big celebration and cooked hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. That night, we set off fireworks in the backyard which lit up the whole farm with brilliant colours. I especially loved the golden showers of sparks raining down. Sadly my little brother got scared and started crying, but the rest of us had a blast.Towards the end of our trip, we went on a camping adventure deep in the forest. We packed up our tent, sleeping bags, and lots of food, then hiked for what felt like miles to find the perfect campsite nestled between some tall pine trees right by a gurgling stream. Uncle Tim showed us how to build a campfire and cook our dinner of beans and hotdogs over the open flames. I'd never tasted food so delicious! That night, we stayed up late sitting around the fire, playing games and telling scary stories. Emma and I tried so hard to act brave when Uncle Tim told the story of the Hairy Man of the Woods, but we both ended up hiding under our sleeping bags shaking! I'm pretty sure I heard some eerie howling noises too. Or maybe it was just a coyote? Either way, I didn't sleep very well in the tent that night. All too soon, it was time to leave and head back home to the city. I was really sad to go. My cousin Emma made me promise to come back and visit again soon. "This place is way more fun than your stupid city!" she told me. I had to agree.Even though I do love my suburban home, there's just something magical about being in nature and experiencing life on a farm. Everything seemed so vibrant, fresh, and alive out there. The starry nights, the dewy grass, the mouth-watering fresh fruits and veggies, the friendly farm animals - I'm going to cherish all those memories forever. And you know what? I think maybe, just maybe, I made a tiny bit of progress on conquering my fear of creepy crawly things too. Aunt Maggie put me on bug patrol one day and had me scooping up all the spiders, beetles, and centipedes to take them back outside instead of squishing them. I was freaked out at first, but then I started to appreciate how cool and resilient those little critters are.I'm already counting down the days until next summer when I can go back to the farm for another exciting rural adventure. Chores like feeding the chickens and slopping the pigs don't seem like work when you're out in the peaceful countryside. And you know what else? There are way more important things in lifethan video games and TV. Like developing a appreciation for the great outdoors. Like spending quality time with family, making campfires and catching fireflies. Like slowing down and enjoying the simple pleasures of nature.Summer on the farm - it's an experience I'll never forget. Thanks for taking the time to read all about my awesome country vacation! I hope sharing my tales of hiking, camping, swimming, fishing, and just reveling in the sights and sounds of rural life has given you a little glimpse into how much fun it was. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go start planning my next big outdoor adventure....篇5My New School YearHooray, the new school year has started! I'm so excited to be in 4th grade. Over the summer holidays, I really missed my friends and teachers at school. There's just something special about being back in the classroom and learning new things every day.The first day back was pretty wild! We all came running into the classroom, giving each other big hugs and talking a million miles a minute about our summer adventures. Luckily, Ms. Wanghas a really good sense of humor and just let us get all the energy out before starting class.Once we settled down, Ms. Wang had us go around and introduce ourselves again. I've known most of my classmates since we were little, but there were a few new faces too. A boy named Leo just moved here from Canada and a girl named Nina came all the way from Russia! I was really curious to learn more about where they're from. After the introductions, Ms. Wang put up a big poster that said "Unit 1: Hello" at the top. She told us we'd be spending the first few weeks reviewing English greetings, asking how someone is doing, and telling a little bit about ourselves. I thought it would be kind of boring since we've been learning that stuff for years, but it ended up being really fun!For one thing, Ms. Wang had us practice introducing ourselves in fun different ways, like pretending we were movie stars or famous athletes. We also played loads of games to practice asking "How are you?" I have to admit, some of the new kids were way better at English than me at first! But I tried my best and Ms. Wang was very encouraging. My favorite part was when we did some roleplaying activities. We split into small groups and pretended we were meetingpeople from different countries for the first time. I was with Leo and Nina which was perfect since they could teach us some real phrases in their languages. Stuff like "Zdravstvuyte" in Russian and "Xin nian kuai le" in Chinese for "Happy New Year". We all cracked up trying to pronounce everything properly. After a couple of weeks, when we had the basics down, Ms. Wang announced we were ready to move on to Unit 1B. This was the part I was most excited about - learning how to ask people questions about themselves and really get to know them. She put up a big poster covered in questions like "What's your name?", "Where are you from?", "How old are you?", and more.We spent a whole class going over how to phrase each question politely and how the answers are structured. Things like using "I'm" instead of "I am" when just giving a short response. It was pretty straightforward but you have to be careful about things like word order. Like you can't say "From where are you?"Once we had all the questions and answers down, it was time for my favorite part - the interview role play! We split up into pairs and took turns being the "interviewer" asking all the questions or the "interviewee" answering about themselves. I was paired up with Nina which was awesome because herEnglish was so good. I don't think I've ever talked that much English in my life!Nina told me all about growing up in Moscow, her big family, her favorite Russian foods (borscht soup is SO GOOD), and that she wants to be a ballet dancer someday. I was blown away by how well she spoke and how much detail she gave. When it was my turn, I did my best to tell Nina about living in Shanghai, my little brother, my hobbies, and that I want to be a scientist and study space stuff. Wow, it was hard work! But Nina was really nice and helped me out when I got stuck. After we all did our interviews, Ms. Wang had us stand up and introduce our partners to the whole class using everything we had learned about them. I was a little nervous, but Nina had already taught me so much that it wasn't too bad in the end. Some kids even asked me follow-up questions about my hobbies and goals which was really cool. All in all, Unit 1 completely changed my mind about how boring reviewing greetings and introductions would be. Ms. Wang made it all so interactive and fun, and I feel like I learned a ton of new vocabulary and Useful phrases. More than that, it was awesome getting to really learn about my new classmates'backgrounds and cultures. The new school year is off to an amazing start!I can't wait to see what Unit 2 has in store. Rumor has it that we might be learning about describing people's appearances and personalities. That could be a little awkward... but if it's anywhere near as engaging as Unit 1 was, I'm sure it'll be great. Bring it on, 4th grade! I'm ready for all the new challenges and adventures.篇6My Favorite Season is Spring!Hi, my name is Lucy and I'm a 4th grader. I love all the seasons, but my absolute favorite has to be spring! There are so many things that make spring great.First off, the weather during spring is perfect - not too hot and not too cold. After being cooped up inside all winter, it feels so good to go outside without having to put on a heavy coat, hat, scarf and gloves. I can just throw on a light jacket and head out to play!Speaking of playing outside, spring is when all my favorite outdoor activities start up again after the winter break. Myfriends and I can't wait to go to the park and play on the swings, monkey bars, and seesaws. We also love having picnics, flying kites, and just running around on the grass. Laying out a blanket and reading comics in the park on a nice spring day is the best.Another reason I adore spring is because of all the beautiful flowers that start blooming. Seeing the first flowers poke up through the ground lets me know winter is finally over. My mom and I love going to look at all the different flowers in bloom, like tulips, daffodils, cherry blossoms, and more. The colors are so vibrant and pretty. My favorite is the rose garden at the botanical gardens near my house - those roses smell amazing!Springtime also means lots of baby animals are being born on farms and in nature. One of the most exciting parts of spring is when we go on a school field trip to a farm to see all the new baby lambs, piglets, calves, and chicks. They are just the cutest! At home, we've seen baby rabbits and squirrels being born in our backyard too. My little brother loves watching the bird families building their nests. There are so many little things that I love about springtime too. Like being able to open the windows in my bedroom after they were closed all winter to let in the fresh air and sunshine. Going to the farmers market and getting fresh strawberries, asparagus, and other yummy spring fruits and veggies. Planting flowers with my mom in our garden. The sound of birds chirping in the morning. Longer daylight hours to play outside after school instead of it getting dark early. Just an all-around cheerful feeling is in the air. While summer is great for swimming and winter is fun for the holidays, in my opinion, you just can't beat spring! From the perfect weather, to the pretty flowers, cute baby animals, fun outdoor activities and nice school breaks, spring is simply the best season. I can't wait until it comes around again next year!。
