一、说教材:1、教材所处的地位及作用:这单元是9B的最后一个单元。

以Great people为话题展开学习,该话题很容易引起学生的讨论兴趣。

在welcome to the unit 部分,学生已初步学习了一些有关伟人的知识。

Reading 是一个单元的核心部分,它承载着众多的`教学任务。

我将reading部分分作二课时进行教学,第一课时为阅读课,第二课时为语言知识学习课和练习巩固课。

根据教材的安排及新课标要求学生通过体验,实践,参与,合作,交流和探究等方式学习和使用英语,真正体现以学习者为中心的教学理念,我详细说说第一课时的教学。

基于本课在教材中所处的地位及作用,特制定以下教学目标。

牛津初中英语9B Unit 4 Reading (1) 说课稿丹阳市第三中学庞平一.说教材1.教材的作用与地位“牛津英语”教材把语言结构,语言功能和主题内容有机地结合起来,所以语言的信息输入量大,选材广泛、主体有序、内容集中,学习内容非常贴近学生的生活实际和思想实际。

本课是9B Unit 4的Reading。

通过阅读,要求学生理解文章大意,在此基础上了解人物传记的写作方法;并能用所学的词组、句型描述一位名人;为完成本单元的中心任务做铺垫。

太空探索是学生比较感兴趣的内容。

课前我要求学生直接借助于各种途径查阅相关资料,并在此基础上进行归纳,预习,在学生信息量增大的同时,学生也有被动的接受变为主动的学习。

2.教学目标(1)知识目标:掌握本课时的四会词汇和重要句型。

(2)能力目标:通过阅读了解人类探索太空的历史;同时,了解并学会赏析传记体裁的文章(3)情感目标:在学习本课的过程中,了解人类太空探索的先驱们的事迹,激发学生对探索太空的兴趣。

二.说教法本节课我在教法上主要遵循以下几个原则:1.坚持“自主学习,合作学习”的教学原则首先要打破以教师为中心,单项灌输的陈旧模式,在课堂教学中尽可能发挥学生的主动性和合作精神,营造良好的学习氛围,更重要的是通过问答提高学生的语言表达能力。

2.采用任务型教学每段给出学生明确的任务,目的明确有针对性。

3.遵循英语教学的交际性原则交际性原则是英语教学中的一个指导性原则,教学最终的目的不仅要使学生掌握知识,更重要的是使学生在理解的基础上,培养交际能力。

也反映课堂教学中学生能以主人翁态度,积极、主动、大胆地参与英语课堂练习活动的主体意识上。

4.追求和谐的课堂活动学生主体性的发挥,要在民主,平等的氛围中体现,更要在科学,和谐的教学活动中进行,课堂教学不仅要处理好老师、学生、教材等关系,还要尽可能的让学生去感知、理解,又要让学生不断地感悟。

5.拓宽学生的视野在教学手段方面我采用多媒体辅助教学手段,用古代的传说,视频等吸引学生的注意力,培养学生的直接兴趣,使学生更踊跃地投入到教学实践中。
