Teaching Aims
1. By using courseware, teaching tools, students can listen, read say and write the six words: were, was, be born, mouse, dragon and snake.
2. Through making sentences, asking and answering practice, students can understand and use the patterns “When were you born? I was born in …” and the “ My animal sign is …”
3. Through listening, reading, role play, making dialogues students can listen,read and act out the dialogues even to recite the context, and learn how to treat the natures and enhance interests in learning English and enthusiasm.
Key Points
1. Learn to use the pattern: “When were you born? I was born in …” and the “ My animal sign is …”
2. Learn to use the dialogue in part “listen and say” and try to write the same composition according to the teachers’.
Difficulties
1. The pronunciation of the word “born”.
