about a place

The reservoir in my hometown for which I call a lake is the synonym for peacefulness, especially at dusk. As the setting sun spreads its last light on the calm lake, it is easy to feel that a beautiful mermaid would mysteriously emerge from the sparkling water. Occasionally ,several fish jumps out the water, shining in the sun, seeking for the mermaid to play with. On a rainy day ,it coul dn’t be a more picturesque enjoyment for a fisherman to fish in the central small island. The remote hills surrounding the lake are l ocated with various small villages, but cl oud ed by vapor, they seem hazy and distant, like a fairyland where lives reclusive immortals. As the sun goes d own, the d eep and serene water is going to sl eep.
